We had a very relaxing time here before heading back to Cape Town and the UK. Paul and Lynne are excellent hosts and very friendly! Paul was very helpful when we asked for recommendations for wine tastings and places to eat. We would certainly recommend this as a peaceful place to stay. The room was verycomfortable. There was a good...

We arrived in the morning (well before check-in time) but the owner was happy to let us check in as the room hadn’t been occupied the previous night. It’s situated in a very pleasant residential area of Robertson, close to all the town amenities. We had one of the rooms with a garden view so we were able to enjoy...

Quiet location. Beautiful garden. Very comfortable bed with the best pillows ever! Delicious breakfast! Great hosts - seating on veranda - pool available! A chair in the room and a small fridge would be a great addition!

My parents came to visit for my birthday - only for one week. I wanted there stay to be comfortable and memorable. As our place wasn't big enough to stay over, I chose Cedar Lodge, it had good ratings and only good things said. I can honestly tell you that my parents loved every minute of that place! From the...

6 of us visited Robertson a few weeks ago and checked into Cedar Lodge. The rooms are tiny, with a 12 inch. TV perched on top of the wardrobe,no space to move in the room and no chairs to sit on, only the bed. The only place to sit was outside on the verandah- not the best place in the...

We feel that your comments are a little unfair as you and your party chose to have your weekend getaway in the middle of winter. You were welcome to use our lounge in the main house if you had asked. We were a little surprised that you decided to braai the one evening given that the weather was not very...

Third trip to Robertson and our third trip to Cedar lodge, as usual the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of an exceptional standard and I think the most food we had for breakfast during our holiday

Spontaneously we stayed one night here as we were sent away from Grand Hotel Robertson which had no room for us although we booked one the night before over booking.com.. We were so happy and glad that we spend the night at the Cedar Lodge and enjoyed the nice garden and a great breakfast. Thanks Paul for your hospitality!

The lodge is situated in a quiet residential area. We stayed in the "family room" no security and open to the street. The furnishings are very old and tired but clean. The room is exceptionally hot, although we were there in mid summer! The breakfasts are good, and the owners friendly. The room and kitchen need a total revamp and...

Paul & Lynne really are the most welcoming, helpful hosts you could ask for. We booked at short notice and arrived with car problems - nothing was too much trouble for them at all and they really helped us by contacting mechanics on our behalf. The breakfasts are really good and they will help you get a reservation in town...
