Just what we needed - peace, quiet and nature! Our favourite part of our holiday was the stunning views and the list of activities. We loved swimming and fishing (catch and release) in the dam and enjoyed the beautiful hiking trails. The tent is well-equipped and comfortable and the beds and bedding are super comfy. Mia and Johan were very friendly and helpful hosts. We loved our stay at Africamps, Pat Busch, and can't wait to go back!
A wonderful few days "glamping" in the mountains of Robertson. Our daughter loved exploring, swimming and meeting other kids. Highlights include a beautiful pool, a super dam with boats, and some lovely walks in nature. We had a fabulous time.
I needed a holiday and this was perfect. I could be as active or not depending on my mood each day. The views from the tents are spectacular. The amenities in the tents are good and the bed was so very comfortable. I would definitely go back.
I have been trying to get into Africamps for ages! Finally the opportunity came up for a 3 night stay. We had the best time ever and added on an extra night...and then another...! Needless to say anymore. A special shout out for the lovely couple management team Johan and Mia who couldn't do enough for us. We will be back!!!
So disappointed with the pat busch africamps resort. Myself and the fam decided to book a couple of days at this luxury tented accommodation, from the website the place looks awesome as per the first photo attached. On arrival at first sight we thought we were at the incorrect venue, after managing to track the resort manager down he confirmed that we were at the right place. I then advised him that this is not what was portrayed on the website and that it’s misleading advertising. The unit itself did not have the view that was portrayed on the website, and nowhere on the website does it specify that all units are not the same, on top of that the furniture inside and outside of the accommodation is in need of some serious maintenance. There was no WiFi reception or at least we were not able to get any internet access from it as advised on the website. We then decided to seek alternative accommodation at another establishment to try and salvage what was left of our getaway. I contacted africamps head office today to try and enquire why they are misleading the public and to find out if I would be refunded for their unethical business practices. They are not interested in entertaining my concerns and requests which is why I decided to post this, STAY AWAY. I’m tired of companies taking consumers for a ride, this is totally unacceptable. Please share this far and wide so that everyone is aware of this establishment. …
