Brakdakkie was a lovely, unpretentious, quirky and quiet place to stay. The cottages are perfectly adequate and well kept, decorated with great karoo treasures. We loved this little piece of the Karoo and Kerrigan and Lance have created a lovely haven in town. The cottages are very cool (cottage 3 is a hay bale building - not sure of the...

What a quirky and enchanting adventure awaited us at Brakdakkie. From the moment we arrived at the gate there was so much to take in and appreciate. Hosts Kerri and Lance, with charming four-year-old daughter Oreo, have poured their hearts into creating an experience which has you searching for the next wonderful old-Karoo surprise with artworks made from old farm...

We choose it because of their special rustical furniture. We didn't get disappointed, the room and outdoor was very interesting and all the time you found sth new. We really liked that. We didn't like so many mosquitos, which distrubed our sleep all 2 hours, even we used anti spray and creme to cover. There were so many that it...

My wife and I were greeted by a friendly hostess. She quickly showed us our room and we immediately felt at home. She asked if we were going to make use of the splash pool and then quickly filled it up. Was a nice addition to the room during the hotter days.

I was on a business trip and my wife joined me. Brakdakkie was a pleasant surprise. We were warmly welcomed and the room was clean and tidy. Very well equipped with everything you need in a self-catering accommodation. We will definitely stay there again.

We were two couples who could only get separate accommodation in Prins Albert to do a trip to The Hell. We chose Brakdakkies cottage 1. Quite pricey, very small and not what one would expect for the price. That being said we asked the owner whether the other couple could braai with us the sat evening. She said it was...

We booked this lovely cottage because it was pet friendly. The old house was built in 1850 and nicely restored, and the Brakdakkie Guest Cottages were added. The cottage had an old world rustic Karoo feel, with old collectables used as accessories. It is located within walking distance from shops and restaurants. Our cottage was separate from the others, because...

Spend one night at Brakdakkie Guesthouse in Prince Albert. We were very surprised and really enjoyed our stay. We found everything that we need ( except for an electric blanket on a very cold evening ) to our liking and would recomended this to anybody needing a place to sleep at Price Albert.

Planning our trip to the Karoo, this is exactly what I was looking for. A Karoo huisie were you walk into a different era. We would have stayed for a week. Kerry and Lance were great hosts and the Afri-sjiek décor is done very tastefully. Bring your Karoo chops and have a braai, even in winter.

What a Gem in the heart of Prince Albert. Beautifully decorated, simple yet spacious. Rustic. Definitely a must if visiting PA. No Tv which was great!! Lovely plunge pool for the hot summer months. Beautiful Karoo garden. Mind your head in cottage 1 yet you learn after the first time...lol.
