I arrived this week on Tuesday afternoon and the young man Heizaan and the manager Nikki looked after me very well, even when they were busy on the phone. I had booked a single room which was already upgraded to a double room from the management. But the room had no balcony or even a big window, which I need...

Feel I just need to put pen to paper...yesterday after a rather sad family illness, and out of my control we had to cancel our booking for Thursday night😢,can't tell you how much I appreciate Denise helping and assuring me all will be in order.(regarding our cancelled booking) Service like this goes a long way,and we will most definitely be back...

After negotiating the Beautiful Swartberg Pass you need a Pitstop. No better place to stop at a watering hole. (DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE!!) Our group had refreshments and a bite to eat. Sitting outside we could enjoy the beautiful weather and watch the "Hustle and Bustle" of the town. After a well deserved break we headed back to Sedgefield

Don't miss out on a lovely experience - and they accommodated my three little dogs as well - you earn extra points for that guys! We had Room 14 - the garden suite! Immaculate bed linen, lovely bathroom and ample amenities. The garden is sheer delight! Breakfast was a feast - unfortunately dinner was fully booked, but maybe next time?

Stopped at the hotel for brunch after our trip from Gamkaskloof. Very relaxing experience on the stoep with a view of the main road. Decent pricing on the food, and a deli to stock up on. Didn't stay over this time, but have before and hopefully will get the chance again.

Sit on the stoep and watch the pace of Prince Albert wander by. Really tasty lunch of homemade chicken pie with mushroom sauce, presented separately, with a fresh side salad. The other order of a roasted vegetable salad was disappointing. Very friendly service.

Prince Albert is a quiet little place on the way through the swartberg pass, clean, well kept, pleasant to walk to the dozen or do shops, bars and restaurants. Quaint family hotel with a nice restaurant, nice but in need of modernizing family villas around nice pool with garden. Gym in good condition. Good service. Worth a night or weekend...

We opted not to stay at another B&B and rather stay in the old Swartberg Hotel [est. 1864 and a listed building]. We were offered the choice a rooms in the hotel proper or garden bungalows set in their beautiful back garden. We chose the bungalows which we found to be really pleasant. The bed was extremly comfortable. The shower...

We stayed here for one night on the way to Oudtshoorn. Internet booking was done without any trouble. Reception and book-in was easy, staff friendly and Hotel a typical old Colonial style building. Secure parking at back is free with controlled access. We parked in the main road in front of the Hotel as vehicles are safe and security are...
