The grounds are vast and immaculate - I love the pink rhino and the giraffes overlooking the pool. The flat was simply breathtaking - light-filled huge rooms, stylish modern decoration, a kitchen which had everything - like walking into a dream come true. I would have loved to stay for a week with my family just to enjoy the Tarragon.... More

We have spent amazing days at the Tarragon where we were extremely lucky to be able to book almost all the cottages for a big family trip. The cottages are incredibly luxurious and well equipped with individual beautiful terrasses. Furthermore the garden, the pool and the view make the Tarragon one of the most beautiful location you can dream of... More

The Tarragon came highly recommended and we were not disappointed by any aspect of the accommodation or location. We stayed in the spacious 3-bed Angelica cottage which gives an amazing impression from the moment you walk through the door. It has everything you need for self-catering but equally there are so many great restaurants nearby to try. The cottage is... More

We were speechless when we entered our cottage at The Tarragon Hout Bay. We walked straight into a beautiful open plan living room with a view to die for. The accommodation is set on the side of the valley with views down into the valley and up to table mountain. Beautiful grounds with a pool, veranda with outside dining and... More

First class accommodation that is spacious and set in lovely grounds with a perfect pool for kids. Set under Table Mountain the rooms were clean and cottage ideal for family of 5. We are a family of 4 adults and 3 children who have just spent a fabulous 4 day stay at the Tarragon in the Jasmine and Ivy cottages. They are both spacious and superbly appointed. The Tarragon was recommended to us but the warm welcome, service throughout our stay, facilities, peace and tranquility of the place are simply superb and... More

My husband and I chose The Tarragon as a base from which to explore and enjoy the Cape Peninsula and catch the last of the (South African) Summer. Neither the accommodation nor the weather disappointed! The Tarragon is set at the foot of TableMountain with spectacular views across the Hout Bay valley. The grounds are immaculately maintained and provide genuine... More

It may have been wet and cold and windy when we arrived, but by jingo, that didnt prevent the staff from greeting us with a very warm and incredibly helpful welcome, impressed from the very start. The cottage was simply excellent, well designed, well furnished, well equipped, could not ask for anything more, we were spoilt to be frank. We... More

My wife and I spend a week at this place and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The accommodation, the views, the pool and not to forget the Staff. It was perfect. The only point for improvement can be the quality of the wifi.

We are regular visitors in Hout Bay and thought, that we have seen and stayed in all top notch accommodations out there. However, we have to revise our statement and must put The Tarragon by miles on top of our list. Immaculate interior, spacious rooms and despite it was winter the house was warm and nice to stay in even... More
