The rooms were exquisite and so clean. The gardens are well maintained and the pool was a great bonus - even thought the locals must have thought us mad swimming in May (i.e. Winter). The farm is close enough to walk in to Franschhoek and back to ensure the wine is enjoyed to the fullest :), but taxis can be...

Massive 'suites' and beautifully appointed. The best of everything. Fabulous bed, linen and towels. Even very large towels for pool uses. All cottages set in large lawned garden around a clean and sparkling pool. We had our own private garden overlooking the lavender fields. We also faced West so enjoyed spectacular sunsets. Lovely breakfast. Can highly recommend. Excellent value and...

Met and exceeded my expectations for the most part in all aspects. Did not find the bed particularly comfortable though. Otherwise we had a lovely stay. The local farm cat is just a delight as he greets you on arrival.

Room was really big and nice. The housekeeping wasn't perfect with regards to the bathroom which was a little disappointing. It's well located if you have a car, but we were told it was unsafe after dark to walk back which restricted us a little. Taxis are always available though.

We arrived late at night, however the guard on duty let us into the rooms without any hassles! The rooms were very spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was well presented and good value for money!

This was my second time to return to Lavender Farm Guest House and my only regret was that we didn't stay for longer! Our accommodation was spotless and extremely comfortable with a beautiful view over the lavender field, the smell was divine. Breakfast was delicious and very well presented and the staff as always were very accommodating and helpful. I...

We spent two nights in this lovable place. The breakfast was fresh and the attendants, very nice. The privacy and the security was fine. We enjoyed a lot this place. We recommend this property for couples to keep the romantic atmosphere. Try to taste an excelent sparklig wine at the sunset. It´ll be unforgettable.

If you are looking for a relaxing stay in rural Franschhoek, this is it. The affable Don is the owner & he will be happy to tell you anything & everything about lavender - he grows ornamental not medicinal - as he proudly shows you the rambling guesthouse. While not a wine maker per se, he does know the area...
