The wonderful surrounding of the horse training grounds and the mountains as a backdrop give this place a great atmosphere. We wandered up to their lodge to enjoy the views from the gazebo which was very nice. The adventure of being in Africa was delivered by a power cut that meant we spent most of one evening lit by the...

Great location - away enough from town for tranquility but could walk into town and to some nice wineries easily and quickly. Breakfast was wonderful and abundant. Lovely spots to sit in the sun by the pool or in a nice shady spot by the pond. Great views. Upon arrival Ann and her staff arranged dinner reservations for the next...

Breakfast spot on, lots of it with superb proper sausages. All served in a very pleasant room by even more smiling staff. Perfect place to stay. Thanks everybody see you all next...

My husband and I stayed at this guesthouse for two nights for our anniversary in December 2016. The setting is absolutely stunning and it is located within walking distance of the town center. The room was lovely and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The care taker was very helpful. The decor in the rooms seems a...

We stayed for one night at the place, and though the views are breathtaking and feel like out of a post card, the rooms do need some taking care of and renovation. The decor is relatively old, we had a curtain holder detached from the wall, the television is very old and the coffee and tea is presented in a...

This guest house looks promising when you enter the driveway. The accommodation is dated and really tired, as was the bathroom. Nice view of horses next door and of the mountains. Breakfast was the same each day, bacon egg, sausage. No pastries, croissants or muffins, only toast. Town is a brisk 15 minute walk away.

What a lovely place especially if you have kids - they loved the dogs, donkeys, ponies and chickens. A lovely lake to relax next to. Tennis court. We stayed in the Chardonnay Room with mezzanine level - just perfect. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked croissants. Will definitely go back there next time I am in Francshhoek,

The Guest House is in a nice quiet location, just slightly out of Franschhoek itself. We were warmly welcomed by Ronel and shown to the Merlot Suite which had the bathroom and lounge area downstairs and the bed upstairs. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The towels were white and fluffy and the king size bed really comfortable with good quality white...

I stayed here with my Mom for 3 nights in June 2016. The accommodation is neat, picturesque and is fitted with a beautiful new bathroom and comfortable beds. Breakfast was good every day. The accommodation is situated just outside the main tourist precinct and is quite and peaceful.
