This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The huge bedroom was beautifully decorated, special touches like a bowl of apples in the room. Super comfortable bed. Stunning views. Very helpful staff. I loved the experience. Wish it was longer.

We unfortunately only stayed for one night and had a memorable edperience. The room was clean and beautiful. A tiny minus for the bedsheets that had a couple of spots but the room service immediately changed it after we told them about it. The rooms were super quiet! The service is great and the breakfast very good (try the eggs...

This hotel is in a stunning location. We were so looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately things were not as we expected. Upon checking into our room my husband had to immediately return to reception to request another room. I had unfortunately suffered a fractured ankle five weeks before the start of our holiday and we needed a room more...

The hotel is approx 2km from the Main Street of Franschhoek. The hotel does provide a shuttle service at a cost, otherwise you need to drive. On arrival you were offered a sparkling wine and a tour of the hotel. Our room was very spacious, with his & hers basins in the bathroom. The room was kept very clean and...

Overall, a charming experience. Very tastefully laid out, concealing a much larger number of rooms (79) in back. Very comfortable bedroom, though required walking up 3 flights of stairs and had a annoying squeaking bed (Room 25). The grounds are beautifully maintained, and buffet breakfast takes advantage of the overlook. Service wasn't crisp, but ultimately fine.

I am very disappointed to have to write complaining on TripAdvisor, but having written directly to Chris ( the General Manager) again via "reservations" and finally via the holding group, as of yet I haven't even received an acknowledgement of my complaint let alone a response. Basically this hotel has the potential to be a fabulous hotel with great rooms...

The hotel is very nicely located and would be a good base for exploring the winelands. The room was nice and staff friendly. The bar is ok (although service slow) and light meals looked ok, although we did not have any meals there. However, the "Dish" "fine dining" restaurant should be avoided as it is overpriced and not fine dining...

We stayed here for 3 nights in late January. I was slightly concerned about this hotel after reading the reviews on here. However, we had a lovely huge spotless room and the hotel itself is gorgeous. Breakfast is really good, very fresh and lovely choices. The pool is nice, although weirdly the pool bar was 'open' but the staff had...

We stayed in a quartier suite which was absolutely huge and very lovely. Hotel is in the centre of the town and very easy to walk everywhere. The hotel provides a complimentary car service if you want to go to a local restaurant too far to walk too or just to return from. The bar is pleasant and hotel restaurant...

As always in South Africa a warm welcome awaited us on arrival with a nice glass of wine. Franschhoek can be a little busy , especially at weekends , which makes the situation, just outside the town, ideal. There was a Saturday market which was fun to walk around. Our room was nicely finished with a good view of mountains from...
