Faultless,,, stayed in a fairly small room but everything was immaculate. Gardens, pool, honesty bar, breakfast and attention to detail was outstanding. The staff, without exception were exceptionally friendly and helpful on all aspects. We will definitely return on our next trip to S Africa.

Thanks to Wolfgang and Christine for creating this oasis of calm and beauty. Stunning gardens, wonderful pool, and tasteful decoration. There's enough space so that even when full, it feels like you have the place to yourself with quiet and peace and lots of little secret loungers and chairs dotted around the manicured lawns. Best to lie by the pool...

Excellent base from which to explore the wineries of the area. The Manor is located out of town but not so far, it's a pleasant walk in. The proprietor, Wolfgang, provides a free taxi service in the evening into town & back. It's a picturesque setting & we saw it at its best with clear blue skies. The rooms are...

We arrived in Cape Town airport about 11:30PM Sunday night, where we were met by a delightful driver sent by Wolfgang, the charming owner and host at Franschhoek Manor. Very light traffic that time of night, so it was only a forty-minute drive from the airport, north and then east to Franschhoek, a beautiful village in the wine country east...

Franschhoek manor is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the loft apartment which was very spacious. The manor is very tastefully decorated. Wolfgang and Christina were great hosts, and gave us very good dinner recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious. We really recommend this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful welcome in this luxurious and well organised establishment. Everything we could possibly need was at our disposal from a beautifully appointed room to the pool and grounds. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the large pool and gardens, with the mountains as a backdrop was perfect. So relaxing! A stunning and peaceful location yet easy to access...

We stayed here for 4 nights in 3 different rooms. Each meticulously clean; stylish, yet cosy and well maintained. The suites even have fireplaces! Our first impression upon entering the premisses was, that we had arrived in a small piece of paradise! The Manor is surrounded by a luscious garden, which slopes slightly downhill towards a stream passing behind it....

It is hard to add to the previous positive reviews as most already cover how fantastic this place is. Another guest during our stay commented that they felt they had arrived in heaven! The setting really is breathtaking. The rooms are very well equipped, with full size toiletries in the bathroom. The breakfast outside on the terrace is perfect. We...
