Warm and very helpful reception. Facilities in rooms were all that were needed and comfortable. Comfy lounge with facilities. Location ideal for wandering into the main street and museums. We would recommend this for families or groups.

I highly recommend this for...

It's a youth hostel but we booked a private en suite room (as we're not youth anymore), which had everything you'd expect from a hotel. We also had use of a kitchen/dining room -but to be honest we could hear people going in and out of the kitchen so next time would ask to be in a room further away...

The location of this property was excellent: a very short walk to the mail road in town via safe streets. It was quiet, offered good value for money and was all that we needed to enjoy the area. The hotel is not geared to those who like luxuries. It functions as group accommodation, therefore is very 'boarding-school-like'. That said, the...

Overnight stop whilecycling through the area. Just perferctly close to the town centre so no trouble to go for a beer or dine. Rooms spacious and comfy, nice common room. Lovely shady garden and most of all a great locked spot for the bikes including water hose! Thanks!
