The camp is inside the Kgalagadi Trasfontier Park and is the first camp on the South African side. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The chalets are neat and clean but only one room had an air-con, so it was a bit uncomfortable in the heat. 2 beds are with the basic kitchen and 2 beds with the bathroom. The...

Pleasant overnight stop. Very basic kitchen. Second room has no fan or air conditioner, so not very comfortable to sleep especially with it being so hot!! Also too hot to sit outside as the patio is not covered. Very pleasant meal in the restaurant, nice staff. Staff at reception on day we arrived super friendly and efficient.

The obvious advantage to staying at Twee Revieren is that you are actually in the Kalagadi Trans-frontier National Park. This means you can go on night drives, leave for self drives really early and there is no commuting time to get to the park. The rooms are nice enough and have aircon and self catering facilities. If you stay in...

This is the first camp as you enter from South Africa. Other than Mata Mata or Nossob, power stays on 24/7 in the camp. We stayed in a very nice thatched chalet - no 7. There are 4 beds in the chalet in two sleeping areas. One area shares the kitchen and the other the shower and toilet. Bats seems...

We enjoyed our two night stay at Twee Rivieren - the chalets are adequate but fairly basic although with a kitchen fully equipped with everything one could need and the only negative we noted was that with the fridge being in the same room as the beds it is fairly noisy and can interrupt one's sleep. Shop reasonably well stocked...

We have spent two nights in this camp. The family chalet is very nice with a functional air conditioning system. There is a swimming pool, a restaurant, a petrol station, an inflate station and a shop. There is possibility for a BBQ but be careful, there are scorpions !! Before going there, you have the possibility to have a stop...

Typical sub-standard of South African National Parks (Sanparks), state-owned monopolist: Chalets are worn-out, correspond to a standard of the 70ies. More maintenance and renewal, but also much more cleaning discipline, are needed: ant nests in some chalets, sewage-smell in bath rooms.... Shop and restaurant personnel uninterested and distant. On the other side, location is excellent for game viewing.

I have only good things to say about the courteous, friendly and efficient team at the entrance gate and the shop. They made the heat bearable. Repeat visits to the gate and the shop elicited precisely the same level of hospitality and friendliness. These staff members all score high on likability. May the sun shine lightly on their shoulders, and...

Typical SAN Park facilities. You can get camp arrangements if you have tents or stay in cottages. Cottages are comfortable but simple. Not so cheap if you are from SA but from someone in Europe or USA the price is good. Camp arrangements are relatively inexpensive, less than $30 US. Adequate camp store so that you don't have to bring...

After 30+ days in extreme heat we were thrilled to upgrade from our camping reservation to a bungalow with AC. Best decision we ever made. The bungalow was huge. Full size frig, patio with chairs, braii, small stove. Clean bathroom and an abundance of hot water. Nice pool, no wifi as is with any of the KTP facilities. The restuarant...
