The chalets were very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Our reservation had not been submitted by the agent but luckily we were accommodated in a mountain view room, from which we had stunning views of the mountains and sunset. The hiking paths are quite overgrown in parts and the signage is not particularly obvious at some points. The hiking map...

Wow in comparison to my visit to Kamberg Nature Reserve[see my review and take note they are both run by Ezemvelo] this was an absolute pleasure and the staff were extremely courteous and friendly and knowledgeable and help full. What a pleasurable visit to this park and I give it a 10/10 on all counts[Kamberg I give a 2/10]. the...

We stayed at the Rock Lodge in Giants Castle Camp for 3 nights. What a lovely place. It is literally built in and around massive boulders. Three large en suite bedrooms (bathrooms could do with modernising) Lovely comfortable beds (2 doubles in each room). Good quality percale linen. Electric blankets and heaters in the rooms. Large lounge with 2 seating...

We visited this camp in order to visit the San people's cave paintings. We had a rondavel on a hillside looking out over the most spectacular views. Each night we had a fire in the fireplace which was very cozy. The room was very clean and cozy and the bed very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant next to the...

We came for the views and were not dissapointed. On top of that we enjoyed a nice walk where we saw a big herd of elands and vultures circling overhead. The hut was the nicest accomodation we had during our hollidays.

We rented a mountain chalet with a beautifull view, very comfortable. You can really cook if you want, but the restaurant is also a very good option (and not specially expensive). The kid loved the chalet. The road in the reserve is completely new so very easy to attend the camp. And the trails are very well maintained. Conclusion: ww will...

Drakensberg is, without question, one of the best places we ever been. The landscape is amazing, the colors were breathtaking and the peace of the place superior. The accommodation itself was ok. The overall was great, but for the price of the rooms, you should have more extras. The room was clean, although the decoration could be improved. We highly...

The good: spacious huts with a fireplace, friendly people, great place for wonderful hikes. Lunch/dinner is good. The bad: the huts are very cold even with the small heaters on wheels and the fireplace in the spring. Wouldn't want to be there when it's actually really cold outside. One pack of firewood you can buy at the store is barely...

The road up to the camp is quite dire as has been noted elsewhere on this site. Possibly unacceptable in South Africa but not the rest of the continent. The facilities though were perfect. The chalets were spotlessly clean and well equipped. They were large and roomy - all 8 of the young adults fitted into one room to watch...

We were a group of 10 friends and family that booked for the "Christmas in July" weekend on 25 July. Having heard rave reviews of this in the past I must say I was disappointed. The resort I know and knew what to expect but as far as the "Christmas" dinner was concerned there was not a gammon or turkey...
