Loved the tents, the game drives, and the food. Very accommodating of dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten-free, lactose-free was no problem for them). Also very accommodating of children (8 yr old). The only down side was discovering that about 150 euros had been taken from inside one of our bags in our tent while we were out. We had put our...

What a wonderful place, certainly puts a new light on "camping", our party of seven, myself, husband, two adult daughters, one debatable adult son, his girlfriend and our younger daughter aged 12 all adored this place. Everything about Gorah is first class and the attention to detail from the staff is second to none. Thanks to Nico for the superb...

Amazing experience, tour guides are amazing, couldn't ask for better, in my opinion it was better seeing the not trapped in cages and able to roam around freely, this also means you may not be able to see every animal, but it doesn't matter as what other things you see are as cool. the food is beautiful except there is...

This is just perfect! The tents are amazing (though you'd better pack some warm clothes), the staff is great, the rangers are great, the food is great, and the animals are superb! I didn't know what to expect, but this is just a dream come true! A must do in your life time!

I visited Gorah Elephant camp a few weeks ago and I am still daydreaming about this place! Having been to Africa several times I have never been somewhere that caters to its guest quite like Gorah. Hot water bottles in our bed and on our game drives, candies on our pillows, and absolutely delicious food make this place a must...

This is my idea of camping. Take a 5 star room - remove the walls and surround with canvas. Gorgeous! This was a fabulous safari. Lots of animals seen on the twice daily safaris. Lots of animals seen at the camp's water hole. Hugo - our guide - was terrific, friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. The staff were very professional...

We finalized our trip starting in Cape Town and slowly making our way to this camp for a few days of safari. What a great experience it was, staying in the tent hearing lions roaring during the night and morning. The guides taking is out on the safari twice a day did a great job and were very professional. I...

This place was amazing! I kept hearing the theme tune from "Out of Africa' the whole time I was here! The lodge is a beautiful old colonial Dutch 'farm'. There is only electricity for a couple of hours a day (although if your laptop or phone needs charing they can do it in the office from their generator). This means...

We visited the Goree Elephant camp in March of 2014. We had never been to Arfica or on Safari before. My husband and I were amazed at the number of animals. We saw: rhinos, zebras, lions, warthogs, puff adders, hyena, and many other animals. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The staff was very accomodating. Our tent was wonderful...
