Gorah exceeded our expectations in every way possible. In fact, we liked it so much that, after staying the scheduled one night and then moving on to a "top-rated" private reserve, we cancelled the second night at the second place (due mostly to an awful game drive experience), sprinted back to Gorah, and breathed a huge sigh of relief and...

The rooms (tents) are fantastic, but the main house is even better. Good food, great game drives and the view of the water hole from the house is always interesting. Dinner is the high point, whether outside in the bomb or in the atmospheric candle lit house with roaring open fires.

The Gorah Elephant Camp is situated in the Addo Elephant Camp. Already driving there feels like an experience and being there is more than fabulous! Nice and huge tents, amazing and super nice staff, two game drives per day, candle light dinners, very good views of animals drinking at the water hole, multiple areas to rest (patio, main camp with...

We stayed at Gorah for 2 nights last month and it was a truly memorable experience. It was like a wonderful dream to eat breakfast & lunch at the lodge while herds of buffalo, zebra & elephants took their turns to drink at the waterhole which is only a few meters away. We could also see the waterhole from our...

I just wanted to say thank you for the wonderful experience staying at Gorah truly is. We were with you about a fortnight ago for four days and we are still continually talking about it. The service we received especially from Alison and all the rest of the staff even to the extent of serenading my wife Carole to celebrate...

This is the second time we visited Gorah Elephant Camp and it was both times absolutely spectacular. The tents are very luxurious. The safari guides are very experienced and you see lots of animals. The park has more than 700 elephants so this is a feast for everyone that loves a great safari experience. Food is average but the ambiance...

We were pampered in this lovely place. Animals come up to drink at the water hole just outside the main house. It was blissful watching elephants and zebras walking by. Staff was great. Game drives were fun, lots of elephants and zebras. Perfect place to start game viewing if your on your way to kruger area.

Just had a 4 night stay here and it's perfect. 2 game drives a day, our superb ranger was Riaan. So many animals seen that I can't list them, but we did see 4 of the "Big 5" (the leopard was shy). Excellent accommodation with power etc. Food superb and all requirements catered for. Thanks to all the Team!

Luxury tented camp where the entire team work so hard to make a stay with them personal & special. The tents are fabulous and have everything you can possibly think of provided. The food was very plentiful and delicious and personalised menus such a lovely touch. The setting is stunning and sitting watching the waterhole which is right in front...
