I stayed in room 512 from 6/9/13 - 6/13/13 and most of the reviewers had it right: the property was old and in need of some improvements, but ya know what?? It reminded me of my own house- the carpet needing vacuuming, the windows needed...More
My husband and myself love the Brisol for many reasons~ Which ever room you choose for a couple or a family is perfect~ I have read ratings where people have said it is dirty~ I honestly do not know how they could write that, it...More
I was so surprised to see such terrible reviews for this place. We have stayed here many times over the past few years (alternating between here and the Compass). FIrst of all, the ladies in the office couldn't be nicer. We got there three hours...More

What time does the pool close?
My family is planning a vacation next year and we are considering the Bristol. We are a large family with about 16 people with kids ranging from 2-18 years old. We are looking for a fun hotel, and owners that won't yell at children (which happened in the past). My family likes to hang out and play board games on the balcony, and our last hotel made us go inside at 1000. Does this hotel have strict rules?
Is there a pool table, arcade, ping pong, etc?

The pool closes by 9 or so. Hanging out on balcony/deck is never a problem, but not many chairs or tables. Not really enough tables for everyone to sit and eat. Pool area is small, there's not a lot of room to move around or walk;especially if kids want to move around or sit and play. My kids never posed a problem with management or getting yelled at. I would keep looking. Diagonally across the street is a place called the compass. They have a little mini golf, shuffle board, ping pong tables and game room. Clean and friendly. First floor rooms would be very accommodating for large groups and I think the rooms have been remodeled with updated kitchens. More kid friendly amenities! Enjoy your trip!!!!!

"All rooms have an ocean view, the 2nd floor is best for families, and the ocean front rooms are more private."
