Acorn campground on the banks of lake Hogan is very well maintained campsite very accessible to residents of Bay Area CA. It is very suitable for first time campers since it is not too adventurous or not risky. You see deers and other small animals roaming around. The restroom, bathroom facilities are well maintained. Campfire is very enjoyable. But beware,...

This was our 1st time at this campground. It is only about 15 minutes outside of the Wildwood Boardwalk. Our weekend was very nice & we already scheduled our next trip. Mgt was very nice & the campground is kept clean. I feel the store could have more options, but still we are satisfied. The pool was very clean &...

Grass area to walk dogs with shaded trees. Bathhouse was outdated but it was clean and well maintained. Pool was nice and clean. Employees were very...

On a recent stay there, we were having a nice time by the fire when we were told by the manager that quiet time was at...

This past August, my sister thought it would be nice to stay for a week in Wildwoods for some down time. Camping is not my forte especially after serving the armed forces where I did lots of camping in all seasons. No more for me! I decided to give it a go and Acorn was our destination. Staff was more...

This was my husband and my first beach camping together. We usually go to our favorite lakeside campground in the Poconos. The pool here was clean and very nice area to sit when not in the pool. We took our 3 small dogs and there was a very nice grassy area to walk them. I am not a fan of...
