When entering the hotel with massive amounts of luggage the elevator was broken. We were not informed about the security deposit of $250 (cash...just a scam so they can pocket extra money cause they will tell u your room has damage to it) The front desk was extra rude to us. The room was disgustingly filthy. The mirrors and windows...

We stayed for a few days. Restaurants were hard to get into. Room was dirty. Asked for replacement sheets and they were dirty and sandy too. Proximity to the beach and friendly staff were pluses.

From the moment we entered our room at the aztec we knew we had walked into a nightmare. The plastic ceiling tiles were stained and caving in. You couldn't even walk on the floor because there was so much sand on it. The comforters were stained and moldy. When we entered the bathroom there was water all over the floor...

There are many hotels in the area that are superior to this hotel. I made my reservations without doing much research. The hotel is in a convenient location, but that is basically the only positive thing about it. visualize cigarette butts, dirty sheets- nuff said. They should repair the wiring on the AC units. I noticed (in several rooms) that...

Our stay was horrifying from the moment we arrived! I brought my boyfriend there for his birthday, even knowing that the reviews weren’t that great, but I thought we’re young enough to handle it being that we’re only in our twenties. Well, it wasn’t other twenty years old that were loud, it was a group of 50 year old divorced...

The Aztec should not be called a resort, it's nothing more then a run down motel. The rooms are dirty, the floors were horrible the bed spreads have cigarette burns in them and there was sand in the beds and it wasn't from us and there is hardly any light in the rooms, probably so that you can't see how...

Great location right on the Boardwalk. My sister and I had a room w/ a balcony w/ view of pool and beach. When we closed the balcony door we could not hear the music from the bar so I do not understand why people complain about the noice. The room was clean. The only bad thing I could say is...

In defense of the Aztec from some of these other reviews...the rooms really are not that dirty. They were just what I expected for a boardwalk hotel. However, the semi-cleanliness of the rooms does not make up for the awful experience I had there: Some friends and I wanted to get away last summer and hang out at the beach....

I have never seen such a dirty hotel. When we arrived in our room you could tell the place needed a major face lift. The walls are dingy and the furniture is old and falling apart. The floor was covered in some kind of dark gunk and it was very sticky. The A/C unit barely worked and the remote for...
