Having worked in property management, I notice a lot of deals about a building. This is an amazing restoration and sensitive update of a historic building. A great deal of attention to detail, yet you have individually controllable heating and air conditioning for each room. Staff was helpful and breakfast was delicious. Great location just outside the boundary of Princeton.

About 18 months ago, my wife and I were headed to Princeton. I was speaking up there and she thought we might find a fun inn to stay at, rather than the usual hotel. I told her it had to be reasonably priced so my expenses would be approved. She found the Inn at Glencairn, which met that condition and...

Along State Route 206 a few miles south of the store district of Princeton, this Inn sets back a reasonable distance from the two-lane highway and affords parking and main entry on the rear of the main building. It should be noted that a person with mobility difficulties could find the premises a challenge, since most bedrooms are up stairs...

One of the best places where I have stayed in the US so far. The XVIII-century house has been masterfully renovated and furnished, and the rooms mix modern comfort with a sense of belonging to an era bygone. You feel like you are floating in a cloud when you go to bed and wrap yourself in the luxury Italian linen....

We were warmly greeted by one of the most professional Bed and Breakfast hosts I've encountered and given a quick tour with clear yet welcoming instructions for what to expect during our stay at Glencairn. We awoke after a good night's sleep on very comfortable beds to an absolutely gorgeous, multi-course breakfast, including a coconut lime tea bread, fruit, yogurt...

My wife and I spent the night at the Inn recently and had such a nice time. The room was clean, quaint and comfortable. Lydia is simply amazing and the breakfast was the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend the Inn at Glencairn to anyone wanting to escape and relax.

We read the other tripadvisor reviews before we booked and, following our stay, are pleased to report that the positive, bordering on effusive, comments are all true. Attractive, comfortable rooms, welcoming host, delicious full breakfast and all around warm feel make this an ideal B & B choice in the Princeton area. Would definitely return.

First, the inn is 300 years old. That in itself is cool. Walking inside the place, one immediately feels its history. The floorboards are wide and comforting. The commons area, with its plastered walls, has a serene atmosphere with the original cooking hearth flanking one end. The grounds have interesting outbuildings, including a barn, which makes hoofing around out there...

I've just spent 3 nights at the Inn and was delighted by its charm and location, but most of all by hostess Lydia's superb breakfasts and her warm and engaging welcoming and care. Many thanks to Lydia for her gracious hospitality and delicious food. The Inn is an easy drive into the delightful town of Princeton and a decent drive...

Our Innkeeper Lydia is a superb chef and hostess. All of our needs were well taken care of, the accommodations were very good, and very comfortable. We really enjoyed staying here, and we would definitely recommend the Inn at Glencairn.
