In looking for a reasonably priced place to stay at the height of the summer I found Glen-Nor Hotel. I would call it a cross of a B&B and a motel. The hotel is 2 1/2 blocks from the beach in the heart of the city. Nick Polcini, the owner is very attentative. The rooms are on the small side...

We love the Glen Nor! This establishment will fit the needs of a traveler on a budget who is not looking for anything super fancy and accommodations that are a quick walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Nick, the proprietor has been running the place in for years. The cleanliness and neatness of the place makes up for the...

Last minute reservations again at the Glen Nor. Nick is always accommodating and pleasant. His Inn is only 2 1/2 blocks from the main boardwalk. Off street parking and a clean rooms are a must. We enjoy the home like atmosphere and the price does not break your wallet. We will visit Nick again, hopefully next summer.

Grandson was turning 5 years old and I decided to take him to the beach for his 5th birthday. I found it very hard to find affordable lodging in Ocean City, NJ on short notice, but I was given the name of this Inn as a last resort. It was clean, not real fancy, very reasonable, but I don't care...

The manager of the hotel was incredibly rude and racist. From the very beginning - literally, from the moment we parked our car outside, the manager accosted us. I cannot describe how uncalled for his actions were, but they were only matched by the absolute squalor of the establishment. Avoid at all costs.

My wife and I stayed at the Glen Nor years ago before Nick bought this guest house. We had fond memories of it from back in the early eighties and this stay only reaffirmed our love of this place. (The spiteful people who wrote the other nasty reviews behaved improperly and Nick was forced to ask them to leave.) The...

What a DIVE!!!! Crummy, smell alone keeps you awake....The mattresses seemas if they were found on a curb at trash day. Not clean at all. No wonder they charge $75.00 a night. I guess you get what you pay for.....but the photo's are a joke. So is the place.

If you just need a place to crash for a night and do not care about cleanliness this may be the right place. However, we found the broken phone, sticky carpet, broken screens, smell, and very questionable mattresses a real turn off. Thank goodness the overwhelming charm of ocean city made up for below average accomodations
