Hated to leave! Visited for 2 nights during heat wave on east coast and stayed cool the whole time! We loved the gorgeous in-ground pool! We stayed in the "Bufflehead" room which was perfect-exactly as pictured on website. We enjoyed the "tub for two" in our room and it was probably nicest one we've ever had on a trip. Hosts...

The hosts at Wooden Duck B&B, Karl & Beth were very hospitable. The room was top notch, attention was paid to every detail. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed swimming in the clean, refreshing outdoor pool and watching the hummingbirds and bluebirds. We highly recommend this B&B.

Great place to decompress from the high pace of the city. Nestled in a green Forrest within stones throw of a state park with miles of walking trails, this is a destination worth the drive. Their new conference room can accommodate your team if you are planning a working retreat and the pool is refreshing with the background music of...

We stayed at Wooden Duck B&B for one night and enjoyed every single minute of our time spent there. The house is beautifully situated near the Kittatinny Valley State Park which can be accessed by walking right from the B&B property. The house is clean, cozy and run by an amazing couple,Beth and Karl, who are very warm and hospitable....

We travel to Newton frequently (we have family in the area). We were looking for accommodations because our "usual" hotel was booked. After a little research, we found the Wooden Duck B&B. What a total TREASURE to find.... Karl and Beth are the perfect hosts and made us feel very much at home! They took the time to make it...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Wooden Duck. We chose to spend a weekend night to enjoy our anniversary and were very happy we did. After a great afternoon at a local vineyard enjoying local wines and local music, we had a great dinner out and then a wonderful night at the B&B. Breakfast was great! The morning was...

Clean, quiet with plenty of comforts and amenities - swimming pool, game room, movies, access to fridge, coffee/tea, snacks. Delicious breakfast - with a bird feeder in view! Karl and Beth are very welcoming and attentive hosts! We had dinner at...

My husband and I were in the area to celebrate his birthday and our anniversary. We were so thrilled with The Wooden Duck. We stayed in the Bufflehead room, which had a fireplace and a two person soaking tub, plus as it was on the ground level, we could see out the windows onto the gorgeous property. My favorite part...

The Wooden Duck is a place where no detail is overlooked. The house is spotless, but not so precious that you're afraid to make yourself at home. Karl is a great host -- friendly, and a great guide to the surrounding area. He also serves a fantastic, full breakfast. The house itself is at the edge of the Kittatinny Valley...
