this is a typical budget hotel, affordable for NJ, close to town, and near the attractions of Sussex county which is NJs nicest. High Point State Park, and 2 interesting mineral museums are in the area.
Rude and nasty. We called to change our reservation to the following night and were within our "free cancellation period." We were told that it was within the 24 hour period, so we would be charged.

Thankl you for posting your comments on Trip Advisor. I would enjoy the opportunity to speak to you directly, if you would be so kind as to call me. Although your review listed no negatives, your overall opinion of us was not very good. I would like to know what we did not do to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and value driven, and at an excellent price. I did see in your profile that you are a "Thrifty Traveler". The value we provide in both our rooms and our restaurant are unmatched anywhere in the newton, however, a quick call to our front desk provides our guests with any extra comforts they request.... including extra blankets and pillows. Thank you again for sharing on Trip Advisor. We appreciate you doing so and I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
