Not very comfortable. Warm weather proved to be a challenge for staff. We were provided with a fan after two nights in a hot room. The plastic matress protectors under the bed sheet were noisy and uncomfortable - especially on hot nights. We were not informed when air conditioning became available so suffered through another night with only a fan....

We are so very sorry about the HVAC issue during your stay. Our facility, like most older Rutgers buildings, is based on a two pipe system, providing either heat or air depending on the time of year. During your stay it was unseasonably warm and we had not switched over to air. I do apologize for the staff not informing...

This was our second stay here. Rooms were adequate, tho no hair dryer. Off-site temperature control was set to heat, and with days in the 80's, room was very uncomfortable. No fans were provided or available.

Nice room & great location if you're visiting Rutgers EXCEPT if you're there in early spring or early fall on an unseasonably hot or cool day because the guest either has heat or cold--unless they need the opposite. HVAC controlled centrally so if they're in heat mode, you can't get AC on a 85-degree day in April or heat on...

This is a nice getaway within the Douglass campus with easy bus access to Rutgers campus. Friendly staff. One caveat: at the moment, no AC or fans available at certain times of year, so you may want to check ahead depending on the time of your stay, especially in Spring. This accounts for our negative review of sleep quality, since...

Getting there is simple or difficult, depending upon your starting point and knowledge of the area or lack thereof. Except for the few days of the year when heating vs. air conditioning may be an issue, it's no doubt a comfortable, attractive environment.

My organization, STEM Veterans USA, spent a weekend at Rutgers University Inn during April, 2017. It was our first experience at the Inn and we all had a wonderful stay! The staff and maintenance crew were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location is absolutely beautiful, with a lovely outdoor area in back to relax and enjoy. We will definitely...

I stayed here for almost two weeks and can't express how grateful I am for the service the staff provided. They answered my many questions about the campus and the surrounding area, They considerately worked with me when I had to alter the dates of my stay and always treated me graciously and with sincerity. The grounds outside the Inn...

I am an alumni of Rutgers and I have always seen the inn over the years. I was really impressed with this hidden hotel gem tucked away. The room was photograph worthy and very comfortable for my over night stay! I recommend this place if you are visting New Brunswick and Rutgers campus for the weekend.

All went well except for screaming children in hallway outside my room at 1 AM. I was there for a Workshop at the Conference Center and staying at the Inn was very convenient. Food catering through the Inn for the Workshop was excellent.
