I have reviewed this B&B previously but I think it is important to keep reviews current because over time things can change, for the good or the bad. I am thrilled to say that this B&B continues to be flawlessly managed and lovingly cared for by the innkeepers, Rob and Linda. The attention to equisite detail (i.e. heated glass floor... More

The inn keepers, Rob and Linda are very cordial and professional. They have been operating this inn for over 30 years and have everything "down and tight". Linda has decorated the inn like a Victorian museum. We just spent one night so much more than we could see and absorb but lovely. Our room, the Pineapple room was up a... More

Rob and Linda treat all of their guests like family, taking precious care of each person. Their properties are meticulously cared for which shows the honor they show their guests. Each room, in the main house or suites in their other house are all cared for with love. Come, stay, and be blessed!

I am in love with Chestnut Hill on the Delaware! From the moment we walked through the iron archway gate we felt right at home! Rob and Linda are darlings that have made their Heaven on Earth a labor of love. I was immediately greeted by Linda; she was so welcoming and sweet and I felt at ease. The gardens... More

We recently had the opportunity to celebrate our 25th anniversary with our children and grandchildren at Chestnut Hill Inn, our paradise escape location for over thirty years. Fourteen of us took over both houses of the Inn. Linda and Rob made our family feel special - they loved the rooms, the wonderful breakfasts, the ride on the pontoon boat and... More

Some people just return to the same hotel or bed and breakfast because it is easier than searching for some place new. They return simply return out of habit. We return to Chestnut Hill because it is a fantastic place. Linda and Rob are warm and caring people who take exceptional care of their guests. All of the rooms are... More

This stay is 7 days long and already I am overwhelmed with the care and attention Linda and Rob give to their guests -- me. Every detail has been considered and provided. From toothbrush to tea bags, to sweet home made treats that greet you with your evening's bed's turn down...comfort and luxury at the same time. They work very... More

This was our place to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. I wanted us to be secluded from the hustle and bustle of the NYC area, where we are from. Upon arriving, we were greeted warmly by Linda and shown to our suite away from everything. The room was a great place to unwind with a fireplace and a kitchen. The... More
