Monnie & Owen's bed and breakfast was a perfect stop for our one night, relaxing getaway in April. Upon arrival, Monnie greeted us with a smile and some sweet afternoon treats. She then gave us a choice of two rooms, both of which were very clean and displayed Victorian charm. We were given plenty of recommendations for dinner that were...

My friend and I spent one overnight, on our way to the Fatima shrine in Washington, NJ. We were warmly greeted by the owners of the B&B and were given our pick of any two bedrooms. As expected, furnishings were Victorian-era antiques. Still, the beds were large, attractively made up, and comfortable for sound sleeping. Being a vegetarian, I had...

It was wonderful to have met both you and Paula! Owen and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversations regarding Pet finder and, of course, the shrine you were going to visit after leaving our bed and breakfast. I was surprised and disappointed that, after asking both of you what you'd like for breakfast and after offering you at least 3 choices,...

My sister and I along with my cousin and her husband recently stayed for one night at the Riverside. We were graciously greeted at the front door by Monnie even though my sister and I arrived early. We were shown to our room which was just lovely. I felt like I had traveled back into time. The next morning Monnie...

My husband and I stayed overnight and we were very pleased with our visit. Monnie & Owen were wonderfully pleasant and full of interesting stories. We went to a show and arrived back at the house to be greeted with a nice variety of late night snacks. We stayed on the second floor in the front room with a king...

Monnie and Owen, the owners, are absolutely lovely people who are very helpful with anything you might need or any questions you might have. Monnie makes an amazing breakfast, whatever you want, whenever you want, and as I'm generally traveling by myself and stay here for work, she is wonderful company while I'm eating in the morning. The location is...

I've been to Riverside B & B a number of times over the years. Monnie and Owen, the owners, are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Last time I was there, I told Monnie that I'm on a very reduced carbohydrate diet and although I'd love to eat all of her yummy homemade treats (I recommend her banana bread), I...

My wife and I were planning to travel to Clinton from Franklin, TN to see our new grand baby. The Holiday Inn across from our daughter's condo was full, so I had to find something else. I decided to look for a B & B (even though I thought it would be much more expensive). Much to my surprise I...

Where to begin...or end? Driving up to the Riverside's entry, we should have known that something was not in keeping what the untrammeled bushes, rusting lawn furniture, and wilting plants backing onto the side entrance. Knowing that the proprietor was away (She called with prior instructions if we should arrive before her return.), we entered a small rustic dining room.that...

We are sorry that you were not happy with your stay. My gardener, a graduate with a horticulture degree, questioned your knowledge about what should be trammelled or untrammeled, as the property is maintained in keeping with the Victorian era. Likewise, we have gone to great lengths with the help of an interior decorator, to ensure that the entire house...

Stayed at this bed and breakfast for a family visit to Clinton. Had a wonderful stay in a cozy inn. We felt like we were returning home for a visit! We would definitely return for another stay! Perfect! 😊

Riverside Victorian (RV) is a wonderful place to stay. Ironically, I live literally around the corner from RV. I was recently displaced for three days and nights by part of a large wedding party staying at our house. I decided to try Riverside Victorian instead of the local chain hotel and am delighted I did. Here is what I appreciated:...
