Just returned from Big Timber Lake today. We arrived in the dark so could not fully see the site, Well, when morning hit, I thought I was in Shanty City. The site behind us was seasonal, with a built on deck(using this word loosely) 2 screenhouses with crazy lights and an wide assortment of tacky lawn decorations. This was just... More

We just returned from a truly wonderful stay at Big Timber Lake despite the threat of Hurricane Hermine ruining our stay. I'm so glad we stuck it out and stayed. The moment we pulled in we were greeted by a friendly gentlemen who "speed checked " us in so we could park and get the anxious kids out of the... More

My husband and I took our daughters (5 &7) to Big Timber this past weekend and had a wonderful experience! We rented a 1 bedroom air conditioned bare cabin near the Pavilion. I've been to a bunch of campgrounds and this is by far the nicest. We didn't have to leave the campground. We fished every morning and night, swam... More

This is the second year in a row my family vacationed here in the month of August. We met my brother's family and we rented deluxe cottages right next to each other. We have two boys (6 and 3) and my brother and his wife have three boys (9, 7 and 4). I can't say enough great things about this... More

We spent a weekend camping in a tent and had a great time. Our site was large and well located, close to the bathrooms and activities. The highlight to me was the lake. Clean water to swim at and enough space for all. Will go back before the end of the season!

We arrived and our campsite was not big enough for our camper. We called office to request a different site. They said it was the only one available for the time we were there. Yet, there was a bigger site 2 sites up from us that supposedly had 2 other people coming in during our stay. We were there 10... More

This is our "go to" campground at the Jersey Shore! It is well run, clean and has great facilities! The staff is friendly and helpful! It has a great pool a "beach" like swimming lake! Great for all types of campers... families, empty-nesters, elders... Lots of activities for everyone! Perfect location! Close to great beach towns and shopping!

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It is a great place for families and even just for two. The zip line looked awesome. We didn't try it but it still looked great. The sites are clean and level.

Just got back from our trip to Big Timber and we all had a good time! We were a party of 5 adults and 6 kids and the kids had a blast. The ladies that helped me make the reservation on the phone were great with helping me pick the perfect spot for our large party. We stayed in tents... More
