The B&B itself is beautiful and so well-kept, and Joan is such a fantastic innkeeper! The food was delicious and they are so accomodating and helpful. We will definitely stay there again!

We've been coming to Cape May for nearly a decade and have always stayed at the Gingerbread House. Fred & Joan (and cat Penny) are great hosts who always make you feel at home. A turn-of-the-20th century feel in a great location (just a half block from the beach). Breakfasts are always special, thanks to Joan. And Fred's handiwork is...

Looking for a weekend getaway with fun and class, led us to Cape May in 2006, when we stumbled on this lovely, immaculate B&B with its warm and charming hosts Joan and Fred. Joan and Fred are the true benchmark for B&B host and hostess. My daughter and I loved every minute of our stay and plan to return again. The accommodations are outstanding, the rooms are meticulous and the breakfasts are devine. There cannot be a nicer couple running a B&B on the Cape.

We really enjoyed the time we spent at the gingerbread house. The welcome was warm and the staff friendly and helpful. It was nice to feel pampered with the good breakfast, home-made and the little extras - like freshly baked cookies. While it was quite warm on the third floor, the air conditioner worked fine. We were also grateful for...

Great Location - off site parking relatively close by. Room was nice, little fridge was useful for storing my fudge. The inn Keepers were very friendly and breakfast was great. Chocolate Chip cookies in the afternoon after the beach were amazing.

This is a beautiful Victorian house, light and airy inside, with perfectly appointed rooms. Fred and Joan are the consummate inn-keepers...they are warm and friendly, and they are very knowledgeable about Cape May and all it has to offer. We will be sure to stay at The Gingerbread House again and again!!
