After my mother died recently, I felt the need to get away to a peaceful, relaxing place for a few days. The Angel seemed a good option, and I took the bus down from NYC (5 hours, door to door). As soon as I arrived, I knew I was in the right place. It was tea time, and the table...

We picked this B&B mostly for the price and the crazy architecture of the building, but didn't expect anything too out of the ordinary. What we found was a truly unique, quirky experience--plus delicious breakfasts, incredibly helpful staff, and clean cozy rooms. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed there one night in the fireplace room. It was very cozy, decorated in Victorian style with a door to the balcony. Even though it was a cool 45 degrees, we were able to sit and enjoy the comfy chairs on the front porch. At 4:00 we were treated to delicious homemade cakes and tea and then at 5:30...

Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. There's always coffee available. Breakfast was awesome: 3 choices of a hot dish plus fruit and bagel buffet. "Tea" from 4 to 6 includes delicious cakes and cookies. "Wine and cheese" from 5:30 to 7 was enough so that we didn't bother to go out for dinner. There's a lovely parlor to relax in...

Just returned from a wonderful experience at our first time at Angel of the Sea. Many friends had recommended it. The most lovely restored Victorian Home you'll visit. You can see the love and sweat that went in to this home. We felt as though we were staying in an aunt's home that's how comfortable it is. All were welcoming,...
