We have been guests of this motel since it opened in the early 80's. My parents chose it because it is family-friendly, convenient to town and boardwalk, and has great ocean views. Returning to Cape May as an adult 30 years later, I chose The Camelot for just these reasons and we are completely happy with our stay year after...

Rooms were clean and newly renovated. Bathroom was great. Shower had good pressure (a rarity in hotels/motels). The maid crew was extremely friendly, efficient, and accommodating. We really had no problems!

We stayed 4 nights at the Camelot. Below are pros/cons Pros - As everyone else has said the location is perfect. I walked every morning along the beach, we walked to ton, biked around & went out to eat & never had to move car. Also the price was more reasonable then other places. The rooms were very clean as...

Just got in from a four day stay at the camelot. We found it perfect for our needs. The entire place is spotless, a nice pool area, and a great location. We literally did not move our car from the time we got in on Thursday until this morning when we left. For a reasonably priced stay in Cape May...

My family has been to Cape May for about 12 years. We have stayed at several different hotels over the course of those years. This includes Stockton Inn, then Montreal Inn, Grand Hotel, La Mer Beachfront, Periwinkle and now Camelot. This weekend with friends was completely unplanned. We wanted to introduce them to Cape May and decided to wing it...

It is really hard to find a somewhat reasonable place in Cape May during the height of a season. Price factored into our decision to pick this place. It was about $250 a night. We had a room with 2 double beds, living room and kitchen area. Bedroom really small but it was nice to have the extra sitting area....

We had a wonderful stay at the Camelot Motel. This was a small family reunion, and the front desk staff was very helpful when we scheduled our rooms many months ago. Several of us had rooms on the 4th floor, offering a glorious view of the beach, along with a cool sea breeze. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck...

This was our second stay here and no regrets. The location of this motel cannot be beat for a family with kids. Half a block from the beach and small boardwalk with arcade and just a few blocks from the Washington St Mall and even has a nice miniature golf course located directly in front of the property. The staff...

We have been staying at The Camelot for 13 years. The rooms, recently renovated, are clean and tastefully decorated. The owner is extremely friendly, accommodating and attentive, as is the rest of the staff. Within a short walk to restaurants, shopping and being across the street from the beach, The Camelot is truly an ideal place to stay. We look...

Great location. Very close to beach. Hotel is basic. Furniture very moderate. Amenities light. There are a lot of kids. The pool is a kid pool. If you are looking for a romantic getaway for 2, this is not your place during the summer season. Stay on a higher floor 3 or 4 for views of the ocean.
