Let me just Start off by saying we couldn't have asked for more in a hotel, which felt like a bed and breakfast, and the staff at Hotel Alcott. We were greeted by Drew at the front desk who couldn't have been any more accommodating and helpful in getting us settled into our room. Our room was a suite with...

We stayed here with the entire family to celebrate my father-in-law's 70th birthday. The rooms were ok but there is literally no parking. They give you passes to use the public lots down the street so my husband, brother in law and father in law all had to walk 8 blocks back and forth to our cars. With small children...

I just came back from staying in this hotel. To begin it is elegant, beautiful and the management and staff could not have been lovelier. They were most accommodating when one of our dates did not work out. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is also just one block from the beach. We will return next year for sure!

The Hotel Alcott is a very charming hotel with a close walk to the beach. Exceptionally clean and engaging. The staff, we found to be very accommodating, especially Drew. He went out of his way to satisfy all of his guests. If you are looking for a hotel in Cape May, i'd highly recommend the Hotel Alcott.

I know it's high season but this hotel is very overpriced for the service and condition. The rooms smelled funky every time we entered. It was either a really stale smell or a highly deodorized smell. Neither was good. The flooring buckled and had high spots under the carpeting, which was very tired. The toweling int he bathroom was thin....

I have been going to Cape May since I was 6 years old and I am 29 now so I definitely have stayed at all different types of places- rented houses, condos, bed and breakfasts, and hotels (never a motel though). This was one of my poorest experiences but luckily I don't spend much time in the hotel for it...

Thank you for your note. We are always terribly disappointed when a guest’s experience falls short of their expectations. Please note, the Hotel Alcott is not a bed and breakfast, and we do not advertise ourselves as such. We are a boutique historic hotel located in the historic district, offering a complimentary continental breakfast consisting of muffins, bagels, croissants, yogurt,...

Short walk to the beach, town, mini-golf and loads of restaurants. Staff is pleasant. This Victorian Hotel was quiet, clean, and in a location that was perfect. Our room was recently updated and with a newer bath. We had a Deluxe Queen and it was perfect for our two teens plus two adults for two nights. Continental breakfast is included...

We were disappointed with the Hotel Alcott. The decor was uninspired; the continental breakfast buffet ordinary, with watered-down orange juice, with only one side of the double-sided toaster working. Our bathroom door would not shut, and the room was overly-deodorized --although the Concierge was sympathetic, and instructed housekeeping nor to spray our room with deodorizing spray. Unfortunately, that held for...

This hotel is wonderful. The rooms are extremely clean, the A/C was awesome and the bed was like sleeping on the cloud. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Thank you Sandy for all your help. Everyone at the hotel greeted you with a smile and asked if everything was okay. We are definitely going back in...

We just returned from a 3 night stay at the Hotel Alcott and we greatly enjoyed our experience. The hotel was clearly older, but care was taken to maintain it. The building was 3 stories tall and we were on the 3rd floor facing the ocean. The room had 2 queen beds, a small closet area, a dresser with a...
