The hotel itself is very charming and beautiful. Our room was clean yet very small for the price we payed. Parking was included in the price but the parking lot was about 3 blocks away and you had to walk back to the hotel which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff at the Alcott Hotel continually "deliver more than they promise". Ever since my wife and I began staying here in 2010, the staff ( both Sandy and Drew) make you feel like you are their only client. In short, "they care". The following two small examples make my case: Most recently, my vehicle became disabled during a weekday...

My husband and I have been to Hotel Alcott three times. Drew, who works the front desk, is fantastic! He is very knowledgeable of the area and very friendly and upbeat. He is truly an Asset to Hotel Alcott. Also, for those of you (like my husband) who are not solely sold on the B&B experience, Hotel Alcott is a...

We checked in to room 105 first off what happened was as we were checking in. I asked for quarters to pay for parking, I did go outside to put in the meter and I had already got a ticket. When I told girl at desk her response was " I know I got 2." No compassion or ideas. They...

Nice, homey, historic hotel. Beautiful decor, knowledgable staff about the area. We were pleased to be able to get a room at the last minute. However, the room was expensive. The beds are comfortable with nice linens! The location is perfectly situated and is not far from the beach, promenade, shopping and restaurants.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Totally underwhelming and photos on website so staged that the rooms are barely recognizable. The cheapest possible decor and linens are used. It's a simple cotton duvet and not at all luxurious. The bed skirts are not even ironed. The fixtures are painted over. The mirrors are losing their silver and the unfinished bathrooms look...

Thank you for sharing your feedback; we must respectfully disagree with your remarks. Please note that most B&Bs and historic properties in the historic district do not have on-site parking. While we do not have on-site parking, we do offer off-site parking for our guests. This property is the second oldest hotel in Cape May, and was throughly and extensively...

This hotel has a beautiful interior - the verandah and the courtyard are so quiet (except when the verandah is open as a restaurant in the evenings). The lobby is also lovely. This is an old-fashioned, genteel hotel half a block from the beach, beautifully located, and with a very helpful and sweet staff. The rooms are spacious and basic...

We booked last minute for a 3 night getaway to Cape May. The location was just a block or two away from the beach, and it's about two blocks behind congress hall. Awesome location. We arrived at about 9 pm and found the bed sheets and comforter were stained in multiple spots. We asked for them to be changed and...

Had a ceasar salad, Petite filet cooked perfectly and chocolate (flourless) cake and split a creme brulee. Food, service and ambience was perfect! This restaurant deserves a Zagat (high level) review/rating and the notoriety that comes along with!!

We stayed at the hotel Alcott while visiting cape may. There are pros and cons to this hotel. Overall everything was nice and we would stay there again. Pros- close to the beach, clean rooms, close to shops and restaurants, nice bath products, they provide beach towels and very friendly staff. Cons- very expensive (over 800 for two nights), difficult...
