The Inn lets you choose the room on their website. They are all different, but large and well appointed. Staff is very accommodating. Breakfast and dinner are really good. Probably one of the best places to stay when visiting SW Vermont or SE New Hampshire.
We had such a great time last year, I booked this year's trip a year in advance! As usual, the food, location, accommodations were excellent. The great thing is we could bring our dog with us and still have a four star country experience. Loved...More

Views are nice but not spectacular, probably those facing the rear are the most peaceful. You might consider a room with a separate living room as you can gain some more space and intimacy in your own getaway.
Do make dinner reservations in advance at the Inn. The food has always been superb. (There is a night or two they don't serve in dinner so just check that in advance - thinking it is Sunday....
And a rose on the bed is a lovely touch.
