I'm truly at a loss of words for this hotel that time passed-by 4 decades ago. The 5-star reviews from people make me believe that there is a group of people trapped on the Appalachian trail who haven't received shelter or slept in a bed for years - they somehow make their way to he Snowy Foul and then write...

The rooms are basic but the bed is comfortable, the heat works and there is a fridge and room to store your ski stuff. Bathroom has plenty of hot water and enough room for 2 people to keep their toiletries on the vanity. The Inn has a lot of room for groups to meet and a nice pool in a...

It is a shame that they didn't keep investing to keep the place current. TVs are ancient, carpet should changed 3 times already. Instead of replacing the sofa in our room when the cushion was damaged, they sewed a "patch" over the hole made from the arm cover. Everything tired and old including the staff (well not old). Honestly, we...

Stayed for one night last week. Room was not very clean, piles of dust under the beds and against the corners of the walls. Jacuzzi did not work, and when we called about it, we were told that there was nothing they could do about it. Continental breakfast was terrible. Great location, but it seems like the just don't care.

Just returned from a school ski trip to Waterville Valley staying at The Snowy Owl. It was the perfect base for our group of 40 students. The hotel catered for a number of large ski groups at the same time, with each group rotating breakfast and lunch times around each other. Somehow Steve and his staff always seemed to be...

Went for a hockey tournament. Everything we needed was within walking distance. The room was ok... Don't look under the beds. One other family had no heat in there room. Would we stay for a vacation, probably not. But it served its purpose for the kids and the tournament.

We spent one night at the Inn when we ran the Black Bear 1/2 Marathon. The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had a small breakfast buffet, but if you want anything substantial you will need to go somewhere else. There is a cute little village right there that you can walk to. They had...

We arrived to check in and there was literally nobody working. The front desk was abandoned but had our keys and a note saying to sign a form and leave it and check back at the desk in the morning to "Settle the bill". There were two other sets of keys there as well. Good thing somebody didn't take one...

We booked 2 rooms over the New Years holiday week. The rooms are standard but the inn is cozy with excellent staff and a delicious home made breakfast and afternoon snack. The lobby has lots of places to hang out by the fire and play games and the largest cat in the North East who will come and sit on...
