we have been going to this campground for several years, each and EVERY TIME we had issue's small ones but issues, the staff is friendly and the campground is clean however, when there was an issue with the rv we rented toilet backed up they blamed us when in fact they (there so called camp workers) had not emptied the...

We made reservations for what was said to be a "renaissance" weekend. We were very disappointed to find it was a regional fencing tournament. Big difference. The campground itself is very nice. It is cozy. Spacious sites. Very friendly staff. We felt it was over priced though for what they offer.

We enjoyed it here, water was cold but its the Swift River so it was to be expected. The place is a little run down but we didnt care, we were camping in tents. Electricity is available at the sites, bathrooms were very tiny as were the showers and they charge quarters for water in the shower. Brought my son...

I do not understand the bad reviews on here. This place is great, especially for children there are many things to do and the people that operate this campground are very friendly and helpful. The river can be low sometimes but minutes down the road is White Lake State Park with an awesome beach and clean water if you really want...

Camping on site #6 which is on the river. The site is large, clean, and the river is perfect for fun and relaxation. The staff have been very friendly and prompt. I rented the 27ft Prowler which is old, and needs repairs for sure, but no leaky roof or anything like that. Plenty of storage space. Very dog friendly place...

We camped here in a 41 !/2 fifth wheel. We did not use the facilities such as the restrooms and shower at the main office. We did use a small restroom near the camping site and clean. This is an older park as others have said and the sites are small. The have a few for larger RV and we...

Camped here last minute when the state park was full. Sites are close together with hardly any trees between you and your neighbors. Lots of seasonal RV's so you feel like you put up a tent in a trailer park. The family next to us was literally watching tv on their hardwood deck off of their RV. Super weird and...

We had hoped for a nice swim at the advertised "beach area", but as it turns out, the water was ice cold and barely ankle deep, and that was in August. No swimming unless you are a fish. Also, like some of the other reviews above, we had some very noisy neighbors. We asked the owners for help, and then,...

I do not mean bad rules, simply that they are enforced. Quiet time, parking are enforced by the golf cart patrol. Maybe other things as well? I didn't break any other rules :) Smaller sites, but more private. Still enough room to get big rigs in there. Now the bad... If you stay anywhere near the pavilion please be aware...

We went for Memorial Weekend and stayed 2 nights. It was quite busy with most of the sites around us in use. There was one site next to us that had what appeared to be long-term campers. They had quite an array of strange items outside, including a bureau with no drawers? I was a little surprised that management allowed...

“Any site along the river you will love. NO children? During busy season stay farther away from the beach area, but Lot #2 was lovely.”
  • Beach area to far right, not quite in view.
  • The fish are always there.
  • Reflection of trees.
  • View of the brook looking left.
  • A rental
  • View from the next site over
  • Fish and more fish.
