Nice location in historical district. Easily walkable to downtown. Unique and satisfying breakfast choices. Loved the energy bites and fresh smoothie. Comfy beds. Wonderful friendly staff. Management should replace water glasses with bottled water in hotel rooms.

Historic home with wood staircases and lovely sitting areas with modern bathroom and spacious rooms. Interesting breakfast of small plates. Friendly staff and casual atmosphere. Good location for walking downtown but just far enough off the beaten path for a quiet experience.

Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, quaint atmosphere! The staff is very attentive and friendly, especially appreciated the help from Josh. The location is great, just a short walk to all the restaurants, shops and Strawberry Bank. The only thing missing is a better breakfast.

We stayed at THP for one night at the end of our trip up to Bar Harbor. It was a great end to our trip. We stayed in a deluxe queen room. The bed was extremely comfortable, the sheets were amazing. The room and hotel itself was very cozy. The staff was friendly. The hotel was in easy walking distance...

We loved the hotel, its ambiance, its location, and just everything about it! The complementary breakfasts are the best we ever had. The staff puts such a unique, creative, personal twist on the items available for breakfast, which were all healthy and wholesome. The staff is also very helpful and happy to answer any questions you have. Staying at Hotel...

We stayed just one night on a tour of New England. Very warm welcome and immediately into our room which was large, the bed was comfortable and linen high quality. Good shower but unnecessary extra door between shower and basin meant a bit of space lost. A little bit of room noise travelled from upstairs but not enough to keep...

This hotel is located very close to downtown. Everything looks newly renovated/very clean and they have some great common areas for relaxing. The quality of the rooms is great, nice furnishings and the ipad with dock is a nice touch for listening to music and browsing for things to do or restaurants. Breakfast was unique with lots of small plates....

A really nice room in a eclectic inn. Great central location. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and a nice continental breakfast to boot. I am looking forward to trying more of their properties.

Great place close to everything. Breakfast is included but it's not your run of the mill hotel chain continental buffet, creative and delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful overnight stay to explore Portsmouth for a couple of days on my way to Acadia.

We stayed here for one night on a trip to Portsmouth. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and lovey rooms equipped with everything you need. Only slight hesitation at giving 5 stars was the fact our room was opposite the breakfast room which was noisy from 6am. Other than that one room, I'm sure it would be fine! Would stay again but...
