Family-rub bed and breakfast with small bar. The owner is very accommodating and nice. Decent amenities and shared bathroom. The location is good, right on the main street that goes through North Conway.

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect, having never stayed at the 1785 Inn before...Needless to say, it was awesome. Becky and Charlie, the inn's keepers, were very pleasant, warm and engaging. My girlfriend had the opportunity to enjoy a casual with them at the quaint bar, where we discussed our families, and learned of their 32 year history with...

We spent a delightful week here. Owners Becky and Charlie are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. Beautiful old inn, extremely clean and comfortable. The breakfasts are heavenly, everything cooked from scratch, served in the dining room with separate tables overlooking the gorgeous view of the mountains. Relaxed evenings in front the roaring fire in the beamed-ceiling living room. Very friendly...

The Inn was very comfortable, the owners very friendly, and the breakfasts wonderful. The history of the Inn was interestng and the two fireplaces in the common areas were a treat in the evenings. Room 9 was very comfortable once the space heater kicked in.

This hotel is a gem!! It is a very old hotel, but very clean and nice. The bedding, bedroom and bathrooms were old school but clean and inviting. Stop in for a late nightcap at the bar, or relax in front of the fireplace. The views, grounds and experience was great. Wake up to the smell of a homemade breakfast,...

What a quaint place, we were on the Bike The Whites tour, got set up on our bikes, got some good advice on possible routes on a hand-drawn sketch map, definitely definitely not to scale, hehe. Still the distances we were told were very accurate. So room was lovely, the bar had a good atmosphere. Some great places nearby to...

I have stayed here multiple times over the years. I liked that I could access the North-South Road from the Hurricane Mountain Road so that I could get to Settler's green easily. The Inn is world class and I appreciated the cuisine and the culinary talents of the resident Chef. Any place that grows its own herbs and has a...

We stayed here on our Bike the Whites tour the first night. Charlie made sure we had everything we needed, he was always working on something at the Inn! The breakfast out in the sun room tied me over to well past noon, very good and filling. There is a lot of charm at the old inn. Would stay here...

My boyfriend and I found this gem very last minute trying to find something for a weekend getaway. We are so glad we found this place because it has such a gorgeous view of the mountains and there are so many places to eat and explore within fifteen minutes of the hotel. The atmosphere of the hotel is very homey...
