We have stopped here before while boating in this area and thought it would be a good stop by auto. Not so!! Thinking of past experiences with Marriott Resorts/spas this was far below what we have been used to. The hotel was very evidently a "make over" property. In our room the wall paper was peeling in the bath, Lights...

Great old building that has been upgraded, beautiful lobby and dining room, indoor pool and two outdoor pools. Rooms on 4th floor were beautiful and well appointed and nice views. Food was good and great buffet breakfast (also menu breakfast available.

This is really a fantastic resort. Beautiful, sprawling grounds built into a rocky shore along a marina. Very well maintained indoors and out. It is old, but feels historic and classic, not rundown at all. Very nicely appointed. There are two great pools - one outdoor with super lounge chairs and good pool service with bar and restaurant. The marina...

My wife and I decided to make a last minute weekend trip to the New Hampshire (without the kids) and the Wentworth was a perfect getaway. Upon checking in, we were given the option of a standard room for two nights or an upgrade for one night that would require us to switch rooms. We opted for the upgrade for...

Had a nice three day stay with my wife. First two nights, we were on the 4th floor in a very very nice room with sitting area and beautiful bath. the third night we had to move down to the 3rd floor (I had not planned on staying three nights and they had 3 weddings going on so our room...

We have stayed here twice, and absolutely loved it each time. We got married on the beach nearby and spent our honeymoon weekend there. The spa is fantastic, you can lounge around the hotel in a bathrobe and go in and out of the pool and Jacuzzi all day long. The place has been beautifully renovated yet the old elegance...

We stayed at the marina suites for one night and loved it. The suites are beautiful. The 2nd bedroom for our kids (5 & 8) had huge beds and a cathedral ceiling. We had great views from the master suite. The breakfast at SALT was delicious! We are definitely going back!

We just spent 2 nights here for our place to stay while we visited Maine. Why stay in New Hampshire & not Maine? Because everywhere we tried in Maine this time of year required 4 night minimum. But the drive wasn't bad, no more than 30 min to Kennebunckport, & we got the extra bonus of seeing New Castle &...

This is a first class hotel with a first class restaurant- ( the Salt). A lot of history made in this hotel since the 1800's. This is the second time we have stayed overnight here and from the luxurious bedding to the marble bathroom we have felt like it was a very special place. The only disappointment this time was...
