I visited the Nutmeg Inn in October. The leaves were changing, the location was lovely. The Inn was cosy, roaring fire in the hearth. There were snacks and drinks served at15.00 hours. The breakfast was amazing, all fresh cooked and enough food to last all day. The proprietors were lovely, and went out of their way to be friendly and...

On arrival Mark and Lynne were outside chopping wood for the fire, so we could tell at once this was a truly family run Inn. We were made very welcome and Lynne took us on a tour of the Inn explaining its fascinating history. Its an old building with beams and open fire, so very cosy. I also discovered Lynne...

From the moment we arrived we felt warm and welcomed. Mark and Lynne are the perfect hosts. The Inn is a comfortable and characterful place, and the breakfasts delicious. The other guests made convivial company and we enjoyed a game of Scrabble and a chat by the fireside over a beer. The Inn is a few miles out of Meredith...

Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful, from the coffee and cake when we arrived to suggesting places to visit they were excellent. The house itself is a star, absolutely lovely. The breakfasts were fantastic. Will stay if on the area...

My wife and I just spent a lovely two-night stay at Nutmeg Inn. Great accommodations; super-care-giving Innkeeper (Mark) and wife (Lynne). Wonderful breakfast. Super recommendations for places to eat at and hiking trails. Our room (the "Nutmeg Suite) was quite spacious and most comfortable. The main part of the B&B is absolutely lovely, with several rooms for reading, relaxing, enjoying...

We so enjoyed having you stay with us, and I will employ all of your tips concerning growing English heirloom roses. Too bad this place is no longer a working farm. We could have used the manure......

We had a great two night stay, Mark and Lynn were great hosts that care for their guests. The room (sage)was very comfortable, the house is big enough that you don't feel crowded, the grounds are great with a nice size pool. The breakfasts are amazing, Mark makes a awesome loaf of homade sourdough bread every morning

With attentive innkeepers, and interesting co-vacationers, the Nutmeg Inn added charm and a relaxing night to my New England vacation. We had a tasty Mexican frittata with homemade sourdough bread and smoothies for breakfast. Great coffee, too! The common rooms are furnished with comfy period pieces, and they have a large collection of "old movies" - even including DVD and...
