We were there for one night while on business in the area. Wish we had stayed longer. Incredibly comfortable bed, beautiful room. Tastefully furnished with everything you could need. Can't wait to go back.

We chose the Lyme Inn for a nuclear family weekend with our three adult children. It was an extension of our 50th Anniversary celebration. The children are all Dartmouth College graduates so the Upper Valley was the perfect spot to gather. The Lyme Inn was absolutely perfect. We had four rooms, all of which were charming, with very comfortable beds...

I needed to head to a recruiting event at a high school in Vermont the next day so needed just a place for the night and wow! Lots of character and charm. The room was on the third floor - tastefully decorated and an amazing bathroom complete with a robe which was unexpected. The next morning breakfast started at 8...

We stayed two nights at the Lyme Inn and really wished we had stayed longer. The room was just lovely: thick carpets, huge comfy bed, large gleaming bathroom, tasteful décor - exactly the kind of thing to put a smile on your face after a long day of travelling. We ate in the restaurant and sat outside in the peaceful...

A great find. This historic inn has all the charm you would expect but totally updated with modern amenities. The tavern room has a full bar with a dinner menu. Breakfast is free and can be expanded for a reasonable fee.

Lovely dinner. Very nice room. A high quality Inn at a good value near Hanover. Not a luxury experience. But, fully renovated rooms and baths. Pleasant owner. Helpful. A great alternative to the usual places to stay by Dartmouth. Quiet area near the Skiway. Finally a great place to stay when picking up from camp!

We had a relaxed, very pleasant visit for breakfast on a weekend morning. Delicious, perfectly cooked eggs to our preference, home baked cinnamon buns, and rich, roasted coffee welcomed us to a leisurely, happy start to our day. The waitress was gracious and happy to heat up our last few sips of our coffee. The view over the Beautifully kept...

As a Dartmouth grad, I have been familiar with the Lyme Inn ever since my undergrad days, but had never stayed there until earlier this month - August 2016. I was pleasantly surprised as the interior of the inn appears to have been thoroughly updated to modern standards. The rooms were large and very comfortable, with free WiFi. The king...

This place was absolutely wonderful. The staff is warm and welcoming. They told us plenty of little places to hike, walk, bike or visit. Their gardens and ground, rooms and common areas were wonderful, with interesting art and classic beautiful comfortable furniture. Their website does not show you all the beauty and comfort they have to offer! We stayed for...

Two day stay to be near family at Dartmouth was a delightful experience. Beautiful inn, rooms, art. Staff warm and helpful. Dining excellent. Nice to leave feeling THAT was money well spent. Will be well pleased to stay at the Lyme Inn anytime we are in the area.
