Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is sure not a motel to write home about. It is a typical 1950s or 1960s motor inn. If it is raining or the weather is nasty, good luck getting to the office for breakfast. The website indicates nothing special, but the Tripadvisor website states this: "The Eastgate Inn is a newly renovated....". Our room surely had not been newly renovated. The lock had been upgraded, but the bathroom was still 1960s decor, plus bathrooms are quite small. Breakfast is "average" for a continental breakfast, with several of the items being items you would purchase as "wrapped" breakfast items. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. There is a nice "yard" area with chairs, but we weren't there during the day. The yard area does look towards a busy street with nice scenery in the background. Overall, the room was adequate and the price was right.

This was a very nice room. The bed was very comfortable. Parking right outside the door. The location was convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was average. We would stay here again.

Overnight stop that was located close to town. Checkin was easy with helpful staff. Parking was right outside our room. Room was very good size, but very dark even with lights on. Mattress was ready to be changed out. It was raining while we were here and is sounded like water was leaking into ceiling, but saw no signs.

They are so rude and disrespectful... These people should NOT be in this industry or in customer service at all ... They treat people like sh*t and have no consideration... There are better places to stay so please look else where ... Didn't end up staying here because of the treatment my daughter and I were subjected to...

Nice remodeled room. Owner has worked hard to update the motel. I especially liked the second "back" screened door opening out to a nice grassy area with two lawn chairs to relax outside in. Breakfast was routine but okay.

The hotel exterior is very run down, and we really nervous. Dirty windows, cracked pavement, mostly vacant on a Saturday night. However, once inside our room, it was quite nice. AC worked well and was quiet. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We walked to downtown and enjoyed dinner in the pretty downtown area, only 10 minute walk away. It's not a luxury property and the rate we paid was high given the needed renovations, but it's not a bad place stay.

Like others who reviewed Eastgate the stay was ruined by management that was lacking in basic courtesy. The best thing about the stay was the heat and TV. The young man at the front desk was professional-friendly however the woman was arrogant and angry, was either paranoid or possessed no business or personal skills. A Hospitality or anger management course could be very beneficial. It was also overpriced even by covid-19 standards.

We have been staying at the Eastgate Inn for years and have been consistently impressed with the cleanliness, good value, and friendly service. (One time our car wouldn’t start, and the manager came right away to jump start it, another time we forgot something and they saved it for our next visit, just to name a few helpful things.) The beds are comfortable, and everything is clean. They also have rooms for people traveling with pets, which is nice. It is a short walk to charming downtown Littleton, and the wonderful Littleton Co-op (the best supermarket in the world!) is right across the street.

No recent reviews so we took a chance and booked a room on 29th August 2020. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Sheets smelled sanitized. The motel might have been recently renovated but the doors were terrible and vllery old. We could hear the person next door coughing..luckily it was not alot. Because the doors were old, we could hear everyone in the hallway.

We had a very nice stay here in early October. The rooms were clean and the staff was super friendly. We did not eat breakfast either morning so i cant comment on that but i would stay here again for sure. Also it's not a long drive to a lot of the attractions in the area including the beautiful franconia notch
