When we arrived we learned that Trip Advisor (thank you!) had upgraded us to a suite, 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, normal price $149. It was wonderful! Excellent condition in all respects. At the last minute we decided to stay another night in a regular room, regular price. Big difference...very dated in general (walls in need of patching/painting, tiny bathroom,...

Stayed here with the family while visiting the White Mountains. I thought this has a perfect location. Everything is within an hours drive. Kancamagus is about 10 mins away, Clark's Trading Post is 2 mins, Whales Tale is across the street. Cottages are decent sized. Nice and clean rooms with comfy beds. There's a babbling brook behind it and multiple...

If you are looking for a modern, updated and pristine place to stay, don't stay here. But if you just need a clean, friendly spot with a comfortable bed, this is the place. It is convenient and cozy and I had the best night's sleep that I've had in a long time. I would stay here again. (I stayed in...

I stayed at this Motel with my family in 1959, and now 57 years later I spent the night for old times sake. Friendly, clean, and like a page out of yesteryear when small roadside motels were the norm. No, you won't find a bar or a night club or an exercise room. You will find a friendly owner, a...

We had been camping and wanted to not spend the night in the rain and started looking for a motel. There were no vacancies anywhere but we were lucky enough that someone canceled their reservation. It's close to restaurants, the Flume Gorge and Cannon Mountain. It was a comfortable room and you could here the rushing of the river.

My family and I needed a motel to use as an overnight staging area before a hike. We selected this facility based upon location and availability yet found we were totally charmed once we arrived. The proprietor was gracious and friendly, and the two-bedroom cabin we stayed in was charming. It was typical "50s-motel decor" with few outlets, but it...

Clean, recently updated and really cheap. Saw decent reviews on Trip Advisor and decided to go for it .It's a drive up motel. We had a room but there are also little cabins on the property. Bed was new and very comfy... bedding new.. everything clean. That's all we needed. Just $60! We pass thru the area every summer or...

A great discovery!!! This motel is a great place to take a break from the Appalachian Trail. The owner picked us up at the grocery store and the next day he drove us back to the trail. All at no charge and he would not even accept a tip. The rooms are comfortable (and very clean!) and they have a...

Overall, our stay was here a very enjoyable experience. We even stayed for an extra day. The owner had to move some rooms around because a regular was due to take our room on our original check out date. Close enough to all the major attractions: Franconia Notch SP is a 5 min drive, 15 min bike ride away. Town...

The trails are great. We go to NH once a year and like the quiet peacefulness. We get to relax and enjoy the waterfalls. The motel could have been a little cleaner and upgraded. The size was small but it was enough for two people.
