This is my fourth week end staying at Ruth and Jim's and I'll be back for five more. Rooms are comfortable year round. Breakfast is always delicious. Ruth is a fantastic baker and always puts out tea and treats in the afternoon and something in the evening as well. Tonight is was sangria and a brownie with a hint of...

The innkeepers were lovely and the food was excellent! (Ruth is a chef from Johnson & Wales.) The inn is really sweet and the room we stayed (John Adams) in was very quiet. Ruth and Jim helped us find a really nice restaurant to celebrate our anniversary the night we arrived. The WaterHouse in Peterborough was great as well! We...

We enjoyed a weekend away for Stephanie's birthday to getaway and see the Jaffrey Fireworks. We were referred to the Benjamin Prescott Inn by the owners of the Little River Inn in Peterborough and we are glad they did! The owners Ruth and Jim are excellent hosts. Ruth helped me with a selection of flowers, wine and chocolates in our...

We have been staying here for almost 20 years and have seen 4 sets of innkeepers come and go. Ruth and Jim, the present owners, have done a wonderful job updating an old and charming inn. They are wonderful people and most accommodating. I have a food allergy and they make certain I am not deprived of the scrumptious breakfast...

We are so honored to see your review, but the biggest compliment is that you return to stay with us when you come to Jaffrey. Thanks again for both! We look forward to seeing you when you next return and we of course will accomodate your dietary restrictions. See you next summer! Jim and Ruth Innkeepers Benjamin Prescott Inn

Frienly and helpful hosts drew our attention to good restaurants, entertainment and recreation possibilities. Fine breakfast, using local produce, some from their own garden. Room a little small, but of three B&Bs on this trip this one was the best.

The innkeepers Ruth and Jim have only owned this inn for two years, and they have worked true magic. An inn should set a stage for a wonderful, unique and memorable experience for those who stay, and they certainly have achieved this. This B & B is a great one for several reasons. First our hosts, Jim & Ruth were kind and full of information for us but yet not hovering over causing discomfort.
