We stayed here in the off season, September, and pretty much had the place to ourselves. The hosts were friendly and helpful and our second floor room with a private balcony was great. The Lodge is beginning to show its' age, but was clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. The price was very reasonable and we enjoyed our... More

Pictures on the website looked great but not the same in person. I felt totally deceived. Room cleaning was not done properly. The carpeting had clearly not be vacuumed and hair was in the bathroom sink which was not mine. The beds were thin and old. The price was too high for what you get. Couldn't wait to get out... More

We had a very nice room. It was so quiet that I thought I was sleeping in a graveyard. The room was large, had chairs, a table, and a good TV (if you like TV). There was a small balcony which would have been great for sitting outside. We did not get to sit out there because we left early... More

Great location with out a lot to do in the area. Rooms and lodge are a little dated. But clean and large. Nice deck to sit out and enjoy the fresh air. Staff was great with home made cookies at night and coffee with fresh pumpkin bread in the morning. Golf course across the street. Would stay again.

Our room was spacious with a balcony facing the creek. The king sized bed was comfortable. Checking in and out was quick and easy. The gentleman at the desk was very welcoming and informative. The price was reasonable and we thought it was a good value. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because breakfast was not... More

Quiet spot. Comfortable room. Way over priced though. Room cleaning needs to be better - especially the bathroom! A positive is its location- several small bakeries and sandwich shops within walking distance. Close to North Conway.

Clean and spacious room with a balcony. The gentleman at the reception desk made us feel welcome and was helpful. Coffee and cookies was nice too. The lodge is within easy walking distance of Jackson village and the general store which does a nice Breakfast. It's also an easy walk to the Shannon Door pub or the Red Fox eatery... More

We were unexpectedly in the area and thought a "lodge" with a river view would be a nice way to spend an evening in the mountains. Our last minute reservation was a mistake. No river view, very pricey, old broken tiles in bathroom, fireplace was a box leaning against the wall. Folks behind the desk were great. Next time I... More

Large room. clean and neat. No breakfast. Must dine out. There is coffee and cookies at the front desk in the morning. Each room has a small patio with chairs if you want to sit outside. King bed was comfortable. Nice view of the mountain. Overall suitable. Decent pricing. Met our expectations.

The entire village of Jackson seems to be rustic and quaint. The Lodge was no exception. Flowered wall paper, large stone fire place, home made cookies and 1 single room key on a leather fob. Check in was fast and the gentleman on the desk seem like he lived there - not work there. The rooms were very quiet. Ours... More
