I came here with my boyfriend for his high school reunion at Exeter. I wanted to stay at a local B&B instead of the chain hotel his class was being hosted at to get more of a feel for the town. This B&B was perfect - charming, comfortable, excellent service, and right in town convenient to everything. Couldn't beat coming...

We stayed here about a year ago and I still remember Rita offering me a cup of tea at night. I was in my room when she knocked to check on me. The next minute she was back with a cup of tea and a cookie. The room was lovely decorated, I felt I was in Victorian era house. All...

I stayed with Rita while attending a conference at Phillips Exeter Academy. The B&B is close both to the school and downtown Exeter, great loction! Both the living area and bedroom were very comfortable and clean. I stayed in the Monet room- very comfortable bed and nice private bathroom. Rita is kind and accommodating, and the breakfast was lovely.

Rita's warm personality and attentive focus on her guests' needs really bring hospitality to a whole new level. Her home is beautiful and her knack for balancing form and function make simple tasks, like enjoying a cup of tea, quick & clever. The rooms are well appointed, our beds were comfortable and breakfast delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stayed and...

Caretakers and visitors were wonderful and fun to talk to; Amenities excellent and the Breakfast was outstanding. Lovely property with nice yard to sit in as well as a TV/ reading room. We were told the history of the house and good places to visit in the area.

Stayed here for one night while visiting family in the area. Rita was a very wonderful hostess and the house was nicely decorated, comfortable, and inviting. We had the entire third floor to ourselves and it was charming. Filled with very good books, decor, towels, shampoo, soaps, bottled water, and bathrobes. My kids loved the plush bathrobes and the rooms....

Rita & Peter were most welcoming. A friend's daughter was doing her college summer internship at The American Independence Museum & I wanted to stay nearby. I "stumbled" upon this B&B and am so happy I did. I contacted Rita by e-mail and was very pleased with her prompt response. I was not able to get the room I preferred...

My husband and I stayed with Rita and Peter is their charming home recently while we visited family who live in nearby Hampton. Not only was the entire house beautifully decorated and spotless, but Rita couldn't have been more caring or hospitable. I think what makes this B & B exceptional is that the hosts genuinely care about and are...

I have stayed in all of the rooms at Around the Corner during different trips to visit my daughter while she attended Phillips Exeter Academy. They were all very comfortable. Wonderful, actually. I even rented the entire house for Graduation Weekend this year. Rita is wonderful, and I now consider her a friend. Thank you for everything, Rita!!!

Rita was more than welcoming during our stay and loved that she had little tips for restaurants in the area, beach access and places to see. It was also interesting hearing the history behind the room we stayed in as each room has a meaning behind it. Fun little facts where you can learn something new while enjoying a comfortable...
