Booked a post holiday party at The Exeter Inn in the Exeter Room for a party of about 18. Working with the coordinator was good, but the set up when we got there was not correct. The quickly offered me another room or to fix the set up to which they corrected into one large table. The area was decorated...

This is an old school building (literally) I think it belonged to Phillips Exeter Academy, and may not be leased to the hotel. The restaurant is quite good: certainly one of the best in town. The bar is also a great place to have a drink. The rooms are comfortable, but older and some of them are pretty small. Still,...

Our first stay at Exeter Inn - greeted warmly by the receptionist at check in - she was eager to please - we requested a quiet room away from the elevator and indeed our room was very quiet (room 338). Our room was clean but perhaps a bit dated (as other reviews have said) which we actually don't mind -...

Just back from second stay. They had keep notes about the room we really liked and had a mini fridge there and cold when we arrived so my husband could have milk at bedtime. On arrival day I called to see when we could check-in. 'When would you like to check-in?" Was the response. The room was all set for...

I want to thank Rick the desk manager who went above and beyond for my family. He helped us to get into a sold out Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn when we had no other options for meals that day. We were there for my son's wedding and had traveled from Ohio. The trip had been intense, but the Inn...

Dear Ann S, We thank you for your recent stay, and for taking the time to provide your feedback! You are right, the Exeter Inn is old, the building itself went up in 1932, and we balance that with a more modern contemporary decor! I am over six feet tall, and I can tell you, they didn't build elevator's for...

This hotel is a classic hotel with so much charm. Our friends and family rented several rooms and each had their own touches.
