It was the best of times, it was the best of times. . . Warmth and a homey feeling exuded from This is a very pleasant B & B. The owners went out of their way to make each and every guest feel as if they were back in their own homes. The breakfast table was picture worthy and I...

Got a last minute reservation at this B&B thanks to Cole at the highway visitor's center. Joe and Kathy were good hosts and welcomed us, gave us a quick overview of the house, don't pet the pooch!, showed us to our room and gave us a few restaurant suggestions. Bathroom was small but adequate.

Joe and Kathy are great hosts. This is a lovely retreat. We went on a trip down memory lane here. We also went to the Shaker museum. It is well worth the visit as well. You might have some fun by asking Joe about the car parked permanently out front.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It made a pleasant change from the impersonal modern hotel experience. Keep in mind it is a VERY old building and was not built as a hotel. Rooms are irregularly shaped, and the timber floors creak. The owners made us very welcome, and the communal breakfast was a real treat, both in quality of...
