Stayed here for a couple of nights w/wife and son. An old mill converted into an inn sounded interesting, and the reviews made us curious to check it out. When my 12 yr old walked into the room he said "this is amazing"...and his mother & father couldn't have agreed more. We stayed in rm 227, a corner room with...

While staying in Vermont we were looking for a place for brunch. We were told just 12 miles away in New Hampshire was the Common Man. We knew it was a great spot as soon as we walked in. We actually parked out front so we walked through the lobby of the Inn (I might stay there on my next...

Very nice accommodations! Staff was attentive, helpful and very pleasant. Beautiful setting both inside and out. Beds were very comfortable with high end linens! The Inn's restaurant was very convenient and the selections were abundant. Both dinners were delicious!

Not quite sure if this hotel gets a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Our room was not available until 4:30 PM so we wandered the older area where the hotel is located. We thought we could wait in the restaurant which is part of the hotel but it didn't open until 4:00. The designated parking area for the hotel...

The Common Man is a boutique hotel with 30 unique rooms. They took an old textile mill building right on the Sugar River and created very interesting, large, and comfortable rooms leaving the old exposed beams, stone, and brick walls. They kept the narrow maple strip flooring and have extensively used oriental rugs throughout instead of carpet. The beds are...

Stayed here 1 night and the staff was extremely polite and pleasant. Like a bed and breakfast as it was so personable. The rooms are very well kept much like an upper end hotel! Also it was very quiet. It is right along the water which makes it a very pretty setting. The restaurant is very nice also. This is...

Very nicely restored historic old mill. Rooms nicely appointed. Good menu in nice restaurant overlooking river. Easily the finest choice in Claremont. Friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed here three times and would gladly do it again.

This hotel is certainly the best in the area. The rooms are part of what was originally a textile mill along the Sugar River. All renovated and tastefully done. We booked a standard room on the Street side. It was large, clean and comfortable. However, it shared a wall with two elevators; and the noise from the elevators at night...
