New owners have revived the inn, cottages, barn and grounds. This is a place that makes you want to savor the gorgeous scenery, relax on the porches, swim or kayak at the lake, or explore the small town shops. The barn is wonderful for parties, wedding receptions, or family reunions....the Phelps family will do everything to make your event unforgettable!...

Photographed a wedding here last weekend and it was absolutely STUNNING! I would highly recommend this location for any event. The grounds, cabins, and barn are beautiful and totally had the rustic look. The environment was clean and laid back. The owners were very helpful and ready to help with setting up, and making sure everything ran smoothly. A+ on...

Got the notice today that the Brass Heart Inn will be auctioned off on December 19, 2014. I guess that explains why recent guests found a vacant inn when the arrived. Hopefully someone will purchase this beautiful property, restore it to its former glory, and reopen. We got married here three years ago and loved it. It would be nice...

Called multiple times on our way to the Inn with only answering machine. We booked room a week ago on line with credit card. Got to Inn at 6pm, wide open vacant Inn with no one around. Called a phone number as directed on a note at the enterance, no answer or return call ever. Got an email today saying...

We were greeted only by a note saying to call DJ if we arrived after 3pm, and a platter of mouse-eaten cookies. DJ did not return our calls and we ended up in the Econlodge down the road. We were pretty surprised to receive an email today reading, "We really enjoyed having you stay with us. We know you have...

We were here for the Bike the Whites tour, with The Brass Heart Inn being the first Inn on the self guided ride. From the minute we arrived on the gorgeous property we were charmed and enchanted; first by our host DJ who is not only one of the most attentive and gracious of hosts, but also a fabulous chef...

We stayed here as first leg of three-day Bike-the-Whites package. It was Memorial Day and early season, we had entire inn by ourselves. The host - D.J. cooked plentiful and delicious lamb dish for our dinner. He set a dinning table by the fireplace in the sitting room. It was a unique and memorable experience for us.

I was lucky to be the officiant at a beautiful wedding at the Brass Heart Inn. I can't say enough about the location, ambience and Inn Keepers. What a lovely old barn on a huge piece of land...Because of the last minute change of venue for the ceremony (outside to in), the ceremony took place inside the barn. We ALL...

We were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding of our good friends held at the Inn. We rented out the entire Inn as a group and utilized all the cabins. We stayed in the Orchard Room in the main inn, in the back. It was a double bed with a couch and a nice bathroom. The room and...

We stayed for a weekend wedding in August and it was PHENOMENAL! The inn itself is very rustic and quaint. The rooms are not overly huge and if you're not staying in a suite, there's no AC and each floor shares one bathroom (we had all 4 rooms booked on our floor and having only one bathroom wasn't even an...
