Mount Whittier Motel is a friendly roadside motel located on Route 16 just 1/4 a mile from Lake Ossipee. All rooms have air-conditioning, heating, free Wi-Fi and a mini-fridge and microwave and are smoke free. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our rooms and our excellent staff.

Very convenient location; in the highway to north conway; stayed there last week during our White Mountain Region Trip; Clean and Comfortable Stay; Friendly staffs. Great for night stay when you need relaxing sleep. Fridge, Microwave, Desk, Shower Amenities and all.

I first stayed at this hotel in 1993 when my parents were dropping me off at camp. I did the same this week with my boys. The hotel is clean and basic, well run and the family that owns it is sweet. This is a not frills kind of place - but a solid safe option. Will book again next year.

I just got done staying two nights at this motel with my dogs. This motel is a family run business, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. You can not beat the price either. There is an outdoor unheated pool, when I was there it was hot and humid, so the pool temp was great.
If your traveling through the area and need a place to rest, you can not do better than this motel. If you come to the Ossipee Valley area and plan on doing a lot of day trips this motel is perfect. For kids there is the pool, beware it is unheated, a driving range and mini golf course a hundred yards away, and some nice hiking trails.
There are a lot of resturants, with in a five minute car ride. A beautiful golf course two miles away.

I needed to stay in a motel. When I pulled back the covers, I found the unpleasant surprise. There were a couple of dead bugs and debris on the sheet. I called the office and told them I found dead bugs in the bed. The managers/owners looked like they were from the Middle East and it was hard to understand their accent. They were rather dismissive of the whole thing. In trying to interpret what they were saying, I think they thought I said "bedbugs" instead of "dead bugs," They kept talking about ticks and trees and whatever. It seemed like they thought the bugs were on me and fell off me onto the bed. They did come to my room and continued to talk about ticks and trees--well, as much as I could try to figure out what they were saying. They brushed the debris on the floor, said "I'm sorry" and left the room. I paid $125.00 a night for the room. There were no comfortable chairs in the room and only a tiny shelf in the bathroom to put your toiletries.

we stayed for 6 nights at this motel in oct close to conway and meredith nh and close to maine so we based here and day traveled. loved emma she was a great host ,ask and we recieved, rooms very clean and parking in front of your room we will be back next year god willing

I was in the area for one night, for a family reunion, and needed an inexpensive, but nice, place to stay. This motel was recommended to me by someone who lives in the area. From the time I called to make my reservation until the morning I checked out, the owner and the other personnel were extremely friendly and helpful. The room I had was clean ( I mean spotless!) and comfortable. The shower was teeny, but it was squeaky clean. Though the motel is on a highway, there wasn't much traffic, and I didn't hear noise from other guests. There was delicious hot coffee available when I woke up the next morning. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone!

We recently stayed at Mount Whittier Motel and have stayed a couple of times in the past. We visit relatives in the area and for short stays this is the best motel in the area hands down. We have stayed prior to renovation a few years ago and since the renovation/new ownership we are happy to recommend this motel. The owners are friendly, the rates are reasonable (especially in the summer when you can use the pool) and most importantly the rooms are CLEAN. They also have a coffee/tea collection to choose from to get you going in the morning before you have to hit the road, which is nice.

This Motel is immaculate, the rooms are adorable and very functional. There is a pool which is very clean and enjoyable. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable about the area and are very accomadating to any request we asked for. The Motel is right on Route16 and is close to everything. The room was air conditioned and comfortable. The best part of all is that the cost to rent a room here is a real bargain!!! We have stayed here many times including an extended time while our house was being built . They also have a few dog friendly rooms which my friends rented this weekend and they told me this morning the Mount Whittier will be the place for them to stay when they head up to NH.

A very convenient and friendly motor inn with inexpensive middle June season rates. The motor inn is on Highway 16 in Center Ossippi, New Hampshire. Easy access to North Conway, the White Moutains, Wolfboro, and the Lakes Region of Western Maine. Simple air conditioned rooms but with everything I needed and a pool.

According to their website, pets are allowed in only two of their rooms. I would call the motel directly to be sure to book one of those rooms specifically, rather than have an unhappy surprise upon arrival. The people there are very nice to deal with.
There are more places to choose from in the Center Ossipee area.
