Sandra owner of the Whipple House is a breath of fresh air in what can be a crazy business. She LOVES running a B+B and cares about everyone that walks though the door. Her passion can be seen throughout the B+B from the freshly painted porch to the cleanliness of every space inside and out that you encounter at the...

You can tell when you stay that Sandra has high standards of excellence. The house is spotless, and she makes sure you have everything you need. The history of the home is interesting, and all the advice that Sandra provides regarding restaurants and attractions was much appreciated. I wish we had another couple of days to stay!

Stayed for a couple of nights recently. Sandra met the GF needs of my girlfriend in preparing delicious breakfasts, and the house is clean and the entrance secure but autonomous allowing easy entrance late at night without disturbance. There are two cats roaming about, never allowed in the rooms, and my allergy to cats is fairly resistent. I never felt...

Thank you so much for your review and I'm glad to hear that you had a positive experience - we certainly enjoyed having you and your friends stay with us. I must apologize though for the presence of the cats in the dining room on Sunday - they are not allowed to be there when guests are eating and I...

We LOVE this place! My husband and I have stayed here 3 times now while visiting family in the area. The owners are wonderful, and Sandra is an excellent hostess and chef. Extremely clean and they are green which is important to me. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious and she makes the best scones ever, served every morning while you...

Sandra is a wonderful host and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived (and I arrived later than expected!) . She was friendly and helpful. The house is immaculate, beautiful and charming, the food was delicious, and my vegan requests were happily accommodated . I highly recommend the Henry Whipple House!

What a lovely place to stay! The house and rooms are attractive and comfortable. The host, Sandra, is delightful company. Breakfasts were delicious - especially the warm homemade scones each morning. As a tea drinker, I appreciated the electric kettle and 24/7 complimentary tea, milk, sugar and snacks. My husband liked the coffee pot with fixings and the fridge full...

I'm very sensitive to my surroundings, so it's unusual for me to feel so comfortable away from home. Everything from the attractive and clean furnishings to the amazingly delicious scones contributed to a wonderful Valentine's celebration at the Henry Whipple House.

This was an excellent bed and breakfast place to stay over night. Very very clean and the food was excellent. This was my first time stay at a b&b and it was awesome. Sandra is such a lovely, kind owner. I highly recommend this place to everyone I know.

The Henry Whipple House offers an extraordinary experience, from the beautifully appointed furnishings and décor to the relaxing ambience throughout one’s stay. This is hospitality at its very best. While I only had the pleasure of staying for two nights, I came away from my visit with a sense of renewal and my internal batteries totally recharged as if I...
