The Henry Whipple House was a wonderful experience. The house and room were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very modernized and the bedroom very spacious. I can't say enough about Sandra as a hostess. I mentioned that I prefer to eat gluten free and she said no problem, she already had gluten free cookies in the oven!...

Lovely house/B&B and a very enjoyable weekend. Helpful and friendly hosts who really know the area and take pride in running a wonderful, homey B&B. Room was large, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, as was the whole house. Breakfasts were delicious and creative, and I'm still dreaming of the scones and the double chocolate orange cookies. One little touch I loved:...

Sandra is a hoot and takes care of your every need. She notices what you like and remembers it. Her breakfasts were excellent - and I had trouble choosing between the 2 choices. (Too bad she does not serve lunch and dinner as well). We stayed there 4 nights in the Garden suite as my husband had a new hip...

You really feel as if you are coming home! Sandra greets you like a member of her family. I immediately felt at ease and began relaxing even before I got to my room. The house is elegantly decorated, beautifully maintained, and the attention to detail is clearly evident. We were in the Weaving Room and it was perfect; quiet, comfortable,...

I would describe the H.W.H as a home away from home. The hospitality show to us by Sandra and her husband was warm and inviting. Decorated with an eye to detail. Breakfast was scrumptious!! Beautiful!

The house was lovely and so was our hostess Sandra. She prepared beautiful breakfasts and eagerly provided sightseeing and dining tips. We were very pleased with those. The house and room were well equipped. We appreciated self-serve coffee and snacks at any hour, and the guest refrigerator. The only negative was the busy street, which could be noisy. But our...

We're so glad that you has a positive experience at our establishment. For future reference we do have many rooms that are not adjacent to the street, a white-noise machine, and ear plugs in all rooms for any guests who might be light sleepers.

Sandra keeps an immaculate and lovely B&B and serves delicious breakfasts. We stayed here while visiting our daughter and family who rent a house on Newfound Lake. We were very happy with our choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room large. The bathroom had everything you could want. The only negative I can possibly think of is that...

I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay. Just so you know, the storm windows are triple-track windows that slide up and the screens slide down - I'd be happy to show you how to open them next time you visit. We keep them down to provide extra insulation and aid with keeping the rooms cool in the hot summer...

As soon as we pulled up we knew we would be happy with our choice. Sandra and her husband have created a beautifully decorated B&B. The rooms are immaculate and all her little touches make it so comfortable. The breakfasts were the best meals of our trip, I'm missing the scones already! We would definitely return !

I have nothing to compare to, but my boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at the Whipple. We stayed in the Sewing Room, and it was clean and beautifully decorated. I'd go back in a heartbeat. The food was amazing, and Sandra was extremely gracious and accommodating. I'd give 5 stars, but as I said, I have nothing else...

HWH is a charming B&B. My room was spacious and elegantly decorated, made me feel I was visiting an affluent friend. The proprietor, Sandra, is a charming lady, who makes you feel very welcome, and btw, serves an excellent breakfast. My only regret is I was staying just one night. I would strongly recommend HWH.
